Client Reviews for Hacienda Los Olivos

We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing week here. Despite being late October, swimming was enjoyable, especially when the sun came out and warmed us up. We thoroughly enjoyed biking on the neighbouring mountain trails, and coming home to warm, cosy beds in the evening. We were blessed with nice weather in the second half of the week, so eating outside was very pleasant. A fantastic holiday!

A lovely place to stay and unusual to find a well-stocked villa as a well as a generous welcome pack. Thanks also to Georgina for her generosity and helpful information. We walked to Ronda and have played tennis although he court is unforgiving on old joints! The sunsets are amazing and the terrace a very relaxing place to sit and cool off.

Thank you Los Olivos for a wonderful stay. The balcony has been perfect for breakfast and early evening cocktails. The evening landscape a treat. A gentle walk as you turn left out of the gates takes you to beautiful vine groves and lovely mountain views. Recommended! We have loved it here.

Blisteringly hot sunshine all week! The pool has been simply fabulous as has the tennis when cool enough. Ronda is stunning. We visited the Caves, well worth a visit. The Roman Ruins at Acinipo. As were the windy drives to Setenil and El Burgo. The Flamenco at El Quinqué was excellent as was the tapas at Camelot in Ronda. Thank you to Georgina for your recommendations and sorting out the bike! Our week has certainly helped us relax – we have excellent memories of our stay here. Thank you.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve been away and have not longed to be home by day 5 – but this has not been one of those holidays. Los Olivos, for me, is perfectly located, so not only have I enjoyed “proper” swimming in the pool, tennis with much more talented tennis companions, but walking and running along the tracks, admiring the Sierras from afar. Ronda is lovely, tapas everywhere. La Alhambra is a very pleasant long drive, but worth the visit – do I need to say that? Andres invited us to see his donkeys, I now plan to get one! He gave us a pile of vegetables. Pretty sure we’ll be back!

What a fantastic villa in a lovely location to celbrate a "significant" birthday! The grounds are beautifully kept and the house very well equiped with comfy beds. Many thanks to Georgina foe her suggestions. Arab baths in Ronda and tapas in San Francisco recommended.

A wonderfully relaxing week at Los Olivos, so much that we didn’t venture too far. However, the drive to Grazalema is worth the effort and we had lovely tapas in the square of the Old Town in Ronda. The villa has been great, many an evening spent sitting outside with a bottle or two of rioja! Beautiful flowers in the garden too.
