Client Reviews for Casa Maria

What a brilliant chilled week we've had! Just what we wanted. The weather has been great! We have visited the locality, Ronda is so nice. The white villages also. We loved Zahara. The village of Setenil is worth a visit. Also enjoyed the Roman remains at Acinipo, fantastic views. Casa Maria is a special place to come back to and you wont want to leave. We love all of Andalucia and wish to return here one day.

We've had a lovely week despite the lack of sun at times. Cosy and comfortable villa, with ample facilities for self catering. Barbeque was wonderful, we used it most nights. Nice big garden with great pool. A wander into Ronda is worthwhile, especially in the early morning or evening. Sightseeing in the old part is a must if you like history. We loved visiting the Cave of La Pileta, with its cave paintings. The Almocabar resturant provides a very tasty dinner as does El Muelle in arriate We found the Aldi in ronda very helpful for grocery shopping.

Our fifth trip! so that speaks for itself! Spent a very enjoyable day in Cadiz and celebrated a special anniversary at Restuarnt Bardal in the town.

Loved Casa Maria, we will return. It was so well equipped and comfortable with a beautiful garden. Ronda itself has so much to offer; we need to go back as we didn't see everything. Georgina was very friendly and because she lives in the area, is very knowledgeable about everything.

What a place! Compact and bijoux inside, however, the outside outweighs this. Amazing pool space, loved the BBQ's and lazy evenings on the terrace.

We have loved staying in Casa Maria. The view and pool are perfect. Gentle evening strolls into town visiting various tapas bars - we did like the nearest one Bodega San Francisco in the square. We drove to Grazalema and enjoyed wandering around the town, they have a fantastic public pool where you can spot flying eagles. We would love to come back!

We have travelled with VintageTravel before and have always received an excellent service. It has been a while since we last had a Vintage style holiday, having travelled independently and to locations not covered by you. As stated in the questionnaire, the information provided before, and at the property, was excellent and Georgina Lewis, our rep, was a very pleasant and friendly lady who offered excellent advice and suggested places to eat and visit. This past week ticked all the boxes in our 'want list' and we can quite honestly say that Casa Maria exceeded our expectations and, in the words of Mr Schwarzenegger, "we'll be back"!!! We met the owner. Andreas, and even though we didn't speak each other's language, we were able to have a 'conversation ' and he proudly took us around his farm, showing us his animals and telling us to help ourselves to fruit growing on the property. We do have other trips planned but, the next time we consider a villa style holiday, we'll be logging back into the Vintage website without hesitation. Thank you for making our week!

We were in search of a week of relaxation in the sun. We found it here. Casa Maria is perfect! Everything is just as we wished with the added benefits of great advice and welcome from Georgina, meeting Andres and being introduced to all his animals and fruit trees (srumping never tasted so good!). What a fantastic week, I feel sure we will return.

Same old, same old- we just love it! Can’t believe this is our fourth visit. Two weeks of sun, blue skies, gentle exercise, good food, books etc. seem to do the trick for us. We always enjoy shopping and meals out in Ronda. Haberdashery stall at Ronda market has the best selection of buttons I have ever found! Our big trip this year was to Italica, roman town NW of Sevilla – well worth a visit.
