Client Reviews for Casa Maria

We have travelled with VintageTravel before and have always received an excellent service. It has been a while since we last had a Vintage style holiday, having travelled independently and to locations not covered by you. As stated in the questionnaire, the information provided before, and at the property, was excellent and Georgina Lewis, our rep, was a very pleasant and friendly lady who offered excellent advice and suggested places to eat and visit. This past week ticked all the boxes in our 'want list' and we can quite honestly say that Casa Maria exceeded our expectations and, in the words of Mr Schwarzenegger, "we'll be back"!!! We met the owner. Andreas, and even though we didn't speak each other's language, we were able to have a 'conversation ' and he proudly took us around his farm, showing us his animals and telling us to help ourselves to fruit growing on the property. We do have other trips planned but, the next time we consider a villa style holiday, we'll be logging back into the Vintage website without hesitation. Thank you for making our week!

Same old, same old- we just love it! Can’t believe this is our fourth visit. Two weeks of sun, blue skies, gentle exercise, good food, books etc. seem to do the trick for us. We always enjoy shopping and meals out in Ronda. Haberdashery stall at Ronda market has the best selection of buttons I have ever found! Our big trip this year was to Italica, roman town NW of Sevilla – well worth a visit.

We’ve had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa. We loved the garden, the views from the terrace and the refreshing pool.

We absolutely loved Casa Maria. Perfectly located near Ronda but outside. Very generous and gorgeous garden and pool. We liked the compactness of the villa and the fact you could go straight from villa to pool and see it from the villa. The Air Con was great. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday and yet another villa which exceeded our expectations.

The laziest ever holiday! We couldn’t leave the lovely pool and garden to go far and we loved our evening BBQ’s and wine, however we did love our morning at the spa, Hamman Aguas de Ronda. Zahara was lovely and worth the climb to the top of Castle. Don’t miss gorgeous cakes from Daver, just off the square in Ronda. The food at Meson del sacristan in the old square was lovely too, really nice meat cooked in the wood fired oven. The horse show in Jerez was also brilliant and a walk into Jerez old town for food afterwards, we found lots of great tapas places. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and hope to return to this gorgeous villa.

Delightful, well equipped villa. Very impressed with the immaculate garden and pool. The display of roses has been superb. Walk to the cave at Tajo del Albanico well worth doing. Also the views from the Roman Theatre at Acinipo are amazing. Thanks Georgina for helpful tips, particularly re restaurant Molino del Santo.

Back for our third visit as we really love this gorgeous place to relax and chill out. Weather perfect so it has been hard to prize us away from the pool and our books. We enjoyed, as always, our trips into the town, walking the cross country track, and the local fave, chocolate con churros in the main square. The furthest we got was Jerez and will not forget the riding display at the equestrian centre - not to be missed if you go there. Thanks to Andres and Georgina as usual for their support.

Enjoyed a beautiful holiday here, the views are spectacular! The pool is great fun and the house itself gives off great energy! We recommend doing the market on Sunday, we bought some great bits and bobs there. We also went to a really lovely restaurant in the old town on the square.
