Client Reviews for El Molino del Pilón

Lazy holiday around the marvelous pool, lying in the sun, watching the geckos on the wall. Arcos is a wonderful place to wander round in the evenings - good tapas and friendly people. Memorable views drinking sangria on the terrace at El Parador. We made it as far as Sevilla and some of us to the beach at El Palmar but mostly relaxed around this wonderful property. Lovely meal cooked by Maria on the last night - complete with birthday cake! A wonderful, very individual place.

We have had a really fantastic week at El Molino. Simple, rustic and beautiful. The swimming pool is set in such mature gardens, listening to the hypnotic sound from the waterfall and watching the birds dip their wings into the water was a delight. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the children loved exploring the extensive grounds and wandering around the lake. The crickets and lizards provided nightly entertainment. Many thanks.

We have had a fantastic week at El Molino. The swimming pool, atmosphere and general surrounding area have all been great, it is definitely the perfect holiday destination. The wildlife around the area has been exciting. The pool was wonderful to swim in and felt like a safe haven against the immense heat. It has been a truly special holiday and we will leave with fond memories.

We have had a great week at beautiful Molino. We loved the house and garden and in particular the pool. We liked Arcos and went on trips to Sanlucar and Jerez which were excellent. We have developed quite a taste for manzanilla!

Really beautiful place. We appreciated the excellent help of Nicola Renshaw. We plan to come again.

We've had an extremely relaxing time here. The weather has been extremely hot so the wonderful pool was a perfect way to cool down. We have visited Arcos, El Bosque, Jerez and Grazalema and we would strongly recommend you explore a little of what this beautiful area has to offer.

We all had a very relaxing week. The pool was a delight in the exceptionally hot weather and we enjoyed listening to and watching the wildlife - from terrapins to green woodpeckers. Zahara was a lovely place to visit and we even made it as far as Ronda. Don't leave it to the last night before asking Maria to make a meal (the chickpea and chorizo was memorable)!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Aug 2014 and it was the most beautiful villa we have ever stayed at (and we always have villa holidays). It is perfect for a family and is very safe for children. It is remote, but still only 5/10 mins drive to local villages and supermarkets. It's a magical oasis!

Having noticed your company online, I was most impressed with the initial phone call made to enquire in more detail over the property itself There was a very high level of knowledge over the property and local area which gave me the confidence to proceed First time we have used Vintage Travel but would not hesitate to use again.

What a delightful place this is. Comfortable, spacious rooms, beautiful surroundings and very convenient for many interesting visits and activities. There were 10 adults in our group and there was plenty of equipment for everybody. The grand finale was a delicious meal cooked by Maria - what a feast.
