Client Reviews for La Torre

We had a great holiday. Beatiful area and lovely house. The garden and swimming pool were very well maintained.

What a super villa and we've had a great week. So much laughter and fun - can imagine what a big family or friends group would be like here. Beach is lovely, pool lovely and great grounds & space. Galicia is a super part of Spain - it's our fourth visit and I hope we return to this spot.

Superb location, everything within easy access. Lovely beach. Great week with special friends.

A splendid week was had by all (8 of us). Fabulous location, beautiful beaches, La Torre provided us with a very well equipped house. Great pool and everything worked so no complaints. Thank you.

Thank you so much for a fabulous place to stay for both adults and children.

La Torre has provided a great base from which to explore Galicia, our first visit to this part of Spain and what a pleasant surprise! The local beach is excellent. We've enjoyed visits to the Thursday market in Bueu and market in Pontevedra well worth the trip. Beautiful house, wonderful location. Loved the swimming pool and eating breakfast on the terrace. What a lovely holiday!

Everything was good and was just as we hoped. Taxi transfers were excellent with both time keeping and standard of taxi.

We feel that La Torre is definitely one of the best Vintage villas that we have ever stayed in! It was immaculately clean and presented-equipped and furnished to a very high standard-the welcome pack was again one of the best that we have ever received and so thoughtfully presented in a basket! The views from every part of the property were stunning-indeed the pool was one of the best we have ever had and the gardens were so well kept and pretty too. Sheltered car parking was an added bonus. There were only two of us and we loved the spaciousness of the property having been travelling for almost 6 weeks around Northern Spain-having previously stayed in El Muino de San Lorenzo in Santiago we feel that this property ( albeit slightly more expensive) was by far superior with its presentation and facilities/equipment. We immediately felt at home as soon as we entered the villa and we will definitely return the next time we visit Galicia. The location was ideal-in easy reach of numerous towns, villages by car and beaches by foot. The two housekeepers that we met were so friendly and eager to assist. A villa that we will most definitely recommend! Only negative.....having to leave to fly home!

All packed up to leave – not long enough as we have had a wonderful stay here – 12 of us – 15 years to 84! Beach lovely and sea warmer than Devon! The villa is so comfortable, with so many lovely paintings and pottery. This are is so interesting and beautiful and hope it won’t be our only visit here. Thank you for having us!!!

14/15 of us came to La Torre for various lengths of stay to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary “en famille”! It has been a wonderful holiday. Accommodation was great – lots of space for everyone. Also the beach and especially ‘our’ pool. Some of us visited Santiago, others ventured to the west of the peninsula, which looked beautiful and like Cornwall/Scotland. We have found it very Spanish & felt very ignorant about our lack of language skills but everyone was very welcoming. The supermercado in Marín came to know us well – massive shops and the only place we would find fresh milk. Local ‘Atlantico’ was friendly in Seixo & adequate for most purposes as was the panadería in the main street. Bar Poty and the superburgers bar near the beach served good tapas & wine/beer – lovely surroundings. Beach is stunning. Have a lovely holiday – we did!!
