Client Reviews for Ca'n Miguel

We have had a wonderful holiday here, the villa was wonderful and did not disappoint in any way. The pool area and gardens were superb. The shady car parking was a real bonus. Location was great, within easy access of lovely coves and beaches. All the amenities we requested were close at hand. We would love to come again.

A very good stay at this very pretty villa - most of the time was spent by the pool and eating from the bbq. The pool was always very clean and warm, sunsets were amazing. Villa was very quiet with the occasional sheep bells.

We have all had a fantastic holiday here with some amazing weather. The pool was very well looked after by Miguel every morning and the house was kept clean by the lovely ladies who came twice a week. The wifi is very good as there are two routers, one for the house and one for by the pool. The barbeque has been great as we had most of our evening meals cooked on it - we didn't eat out that much as we loved the bbq so much! It was very nice to go to the top of the roof terrace at night to watch the sunset and later on to look at all the stars. We will miss being here very much.

What an amazing place. A picture perfect week in an immaculate farmhouse which had everything we needed and more. Thank you Miguel for the welcome goodies on arrival and to Vintage Holidays, Our first time travelling with you and we will do it again - without doubt.

Villa was excellent. The pool and outdoor sitting and BBQ areas were superbly designed and meant that we were able to be outdoors all day and evening. The cleanliness of the villa and especially the pool was unprecedented especially for such a rural setting. Although very pleasantly quiet, the villa was a good base to explore the rest of Majorca and shopping was only a matter of a few miles away in Felanitx or slightly further (for a big supermarket) in Campos, and via good roads. Villa owners didn't speak English but we managed some Spanish between us though, they were very attentive and pleasant. Many thanks.

Had a fantastic relaxing time, read lots of books, played table tennis, swam, drank and ate really well! The villa is fantastic – well equipped, perfect for our group of eleven. Found good restaurants in Porto Colom – Club Es Nautic for paella, Es Port for pizza in Cala Figuera, Castillo del Bosque also very good especially as a fall back when you run out of options! Our favourite though was Sa Farinera, just outside s’Horta – worth finding for authentic Mallorcan cuisine. Beaches a bit hit and miss for us – better descriptions of how built up the surrounding areas are would have helped us make better informed choices but overall big thanks to Miguel and co for letting us share his fabulous finca!

We’ve all had a fantastic, fun and relaxing time here. The property far exceeded our expectations – the website really doesn’t do it justice… The mid-week and Saturday cleaning was extremely welcome (and needed!) as was Miguel’s daily supervision. We spent most of our time outside – it has been very, very hot at times – and the whole pool, garden and pool house area has been fantastic for adults and children. Table tennis a particular feature of our holiday! In terms of the surrounding area, Porto Petro and Porto Colom seemed the nicest and most interesting to us. Good times in Santanyi too. The kids enjoyed Felanitx market a lot and Cala d’Or was fun for them… A brilliant fortnight, we’re sorry to leave, but looking forward to home again.

Excellent villa with helpful owner. Had a great week here. Beaches at Porto Colom – on far side – excellent for the family and surprisingly good for snorkelling. Pools here are great for all the family and the sunloungers and umbrellas a great improvement on our last visit. The BBQ actually worked well especially by using the bricks to control the cooking temp by raising the grill. It works much better with briquettes rather than the lump charcoal that you get in Eroski. All in all an excellent choice of villa.

Seriously good holiday, excellent accommodation. Great villa with everything you need. Vintage Travel Website photos did not do it justice, especially the outside BBQ area which was a great place for the kids to play when the sun got too hot. We loved the pool and the views of San Salvador in the distance. San Salvador is definitely worth a visit as are Caves of Drach. Enjoyed having a cold beer on the harbour at Porto Colom. Valldemossa definitely worth a visit. El Castillo del Bosque is by far the best place we found to eat. Cala Sa Nau was recommended – lovely but very busy so we tended to go to Cala Marcal – busy and touristy but a bit bigger and good waves. Glass bottom boat was also good fun and a nice way to see the island coastline. Kids and adults enjoyed the slide and swim at the end.
