Client Reviews for Podere La Fornace

The house and the setting are really wonderful. Rolling Tuscan hills and delicious local food and wine. We all had a great time by the pool, barbecuing, relaxing and eating perfect fresh baby figs from the tree outside the kitchen. The house feels like a home rather than just a holiday let, with so many lovely sitting areas inside and out. The square at local town of Cetona provided many happy hours for people watching and relaxing over coffee, drinks or gelati. Would love to return to La Podere again one day!

Loved the location of this villa, in a gorgeous valley with fabulous views of classic Tuscan countryside. Perfect for active youngsters, with loads of outside space, the largest (and warmest) pool we've come across in Italy, and a ping pong table in the basement to keep them busy in the heat of the day. The house itself is spacious and quirky in layout- we loved the evening light in the upstairs sitting room, and the lovely old tiled floors. The Wi-Fi was reliable. Cetona is a beautiful village, and Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino are within easy driving distance. The villa has a lot to offer whether you want to explore or just stay home and enjoy.

We had a great holiday.....only problem was that a week was too short to make full use of all the lovely facilities!

Fantastic villa, furnishings were exquisite, views glorious. House and garden really lovely. Many thanks
