Client Reviews for Aelia

We had a wonderful two weeks in the villa. It has been extremely relaxing and we have visited lots of lovely places. We especially liked Assos. Myrtos beach is worth the drive for its beautiful views, but the drive is not for the faint hearted. We also found some lovely places to eat. Recommendations are meze and cocktails at Aqua, The Old Stonehouse on the way to Fiscardo, Elli's at the end of Fiscardo harbour and Odysseas at St Jerusalem beach. Mandy is an absolute delight! Always on hand and has been extremely helpful. Thankyou for a lovely stay. The Ponds

Great to be back in Kefalonia, and this wonderful villa is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing week. We have had fun visiting the local beaches particularly Foki and Dafnoudi for morning swimming. The walk to Dafnoudi through the trees was an enjoyable part of the visit and arriving early we had the beach to ourselves. Mostly though we have simply enjoyed being in this stunning villa, with amazing views. Our thanks to Mandy & Vintage Travel for a great holiday.

We had two wonderful weeks in this beautiful villa. We will surely miss that fantastic view.Mandy is full of useful tips about where to go when you are here too. Don't miss Dafnoudi beach, worth the walk and beautiful at any time of day. We took the daily ferry from Fiscardo to Lefkas which was great. We hired a boat to explore remote beaches and Ithaka. This is our third time in Kefalonia and the best. Assos is a beautiful place to visit too. The views from the top approach road are spectatcular! Thanks to Vintage Travel for a super villa.

We have had a very relaxing week at this beautiful villa. The views and sunsets are superb. Picnic in Maganos is great for breakfastand Greek Night at Ionion near Picnic was enjoyable. Great tips from Mandy. At Argostoli we saw the turtles in the morning, had lunch at the restaurant on stilts over the water - delicious, and a ferry trip to Lixouri. The bakeries at Argostoli are superb for stocking up on treats. At Aghia Efimia we had the best club sandwiches opposite the taxi stand - great ice-creams too. Great time!

We have had a blissful week in this perfect little hideaway. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Best beaches are, we think, Foki and Dafnoudi. Ag. Jerusalem is lovely and Alaties is nice and a good place to watch the sun go down from on the rocks. Emblissi looks nice but we didn't swim there. Odysseas's taverna at Ag. Jerusalem is really friendly and deleciuos. The taverna at Foki is really good and we also had a good lunch at the taverna in Antipata, Errisos, by the turning to Dafnoudi beach. And we reccomend Elli's right at the very end of the promenade in Fiscardo. The old fort at Assos is worth the walk! We loved it all! Melanie & Jamie.
