Client Reviews for Sierravista

I can only commend my daughter for choosing such a beautiful area for us to spend our holiday in. The scenery is breathtaking and you can get a real sense of the local community. Would love to return and explore the region further. My granddaughter loved the pool and spent hours swimming and playing, hard to believe we would be enjoying the pool and sea at the end of October. The charm of the villa together with the thoughtfulness for comfort made celebrating my 70th birthday memorable for us all.

We've had such a relaxing week. The weather has been kind and it was warm enough to swim in the pool and sunbathe. We have visited Pampaneira and Capileira which were very beautiful and have lots of restaurants and shops. We also visited the spa at Lanjaron which was a fun experience. We also had a day out at SalobreƱa which is nice but rather stoney. We have mostly enjoyed the garden and all the lovely places to sit. The flowers and fruit trees are so lovely and attract all the birds. It has been a fantastic week and we have really enjoyed our visit to the Alpujarra.

We have had the most amazing week. The villa and gardens have soothed our souls. All of us have enjoyed the pool and made full use of the grounds, playing games, picking fruit and herbs from the garden each day. Sadly its over too quickly but we'd love to return and stay longer next year. I'd love to return to paint the fabulous views....a week is just not long enough. I'll miss the pool, the house, the cicadas and the mountains.

The website isn't as flash as some others: it's simple and provides loads of details and the photos were all accurate. Maps accurate and easy to get a feel for the property...... Our rep (Niki) was very helpful and responded very speedily to our questions - really impressed, and even when the office couldn't answer a question, they investigated and got back to me quickly. Again impressive.....The house itself was a little oasis. Total silence apart from cicadas and donkeys and dogs. So peaceful and relaxing. We planned trips but ended up staying and relaxing for most of the time. The pool was perfect - we all loved it and particularly liked the lack of chemicals. The table outside the kitchen became the focal point for all our meals but the table on the terrace was perfect for early morning coffee and for afternoon sketching! The courtyard was beautiful to catch the evening sun. The abundance of fruit trees in the garden, as well as herbs, was brilliant. We kept finding new ones - grapes, figs, apples, pears .. I just wish that we were there later in the season to sample the avocados!!! I loved the unusual nature of the house.. it felt like a home as soon as we walked in. Amazing book collection. Very comfortable beds. Aircon very efficient - we had it on a low setting and it still brought the room temperature down quickly. Thank you

It is an amazing villa with lots of quirky details. We have enjoyed the different places to sit and enjoy the surroundings at various times of the day - mine being the top terrace - best views of the mountains from here, especially when the sun is setting). The layout of the house has been perfect for us.

The villa is absolutely charming inside and out. Spent a very relaxing week, just soaking up the wonderfully warm, sunny days with bird song from dawn to dusk. Enjoyed the walk around the villa and down to the river. Visited many of the mountain villages and enjoyed the local cuisine. Pool wonderful and library magnificent. Peaceful and rejuvenating!
