Client Reviews for No1 Old Vineyard

We thought our villa was absolutely wonderful and I'm only sorry that I forgot to leave any comments in the visitor book. The rep met us at the airport and was very helpful with immediate queries. We never needed to see him after that but it was good to know he was around in case of any problems. I would definitely recommend Horafakia car rentals to any other visitors to that area. The most stress free car rental I've ever known! We booked in advance by email.

Superb accommodation and excellent service, couldn't fault it even if I tried.

We were particularly pleased with the Welcome pack that provided items we really used.... greek yoghurt, honey and fruit, as well as milk, wine and water. John the rep was very helpful for island knowledge and brought lovely fresh bread! We had a wonderful week.

Excellent quality and good value for money will definitely look again.

Just returned from a fabulous two weeks at Old Vineyard and wish we could have stayed longer. Well equipped villa with lots of extras to make your stay that much more enjoyable. Three Tavernas within walking distance of the villa plus two well stocked mini markets and a pharmacy. Easy access to lovely local Tersanas beach by car or foot (although longish hill climb back up!) with an excellent beach taverna. Found plenty of places to explore locally without having to travel too far - Chania; monasteries, additional beaches and the archaeological site at Aptera. John, Bev and Keith were excellent sources of information and very helpful

No 1 Old Vineyard was a superb villa. It was easy to see that the villa is a much-loved holiday home of the family who own it, and we felt instantly at home. All the furnishings and equipment were of excellent quality. The location was perfect for a family looking for a relaxing beach holiday. Although having a car to explore is great, it would not be essential for this property as there were some tavernas, a mini market and a nice beach all within a 1km walk.

We have travelled many times to Greece and her islands, but this is the first time we have been the first visitors to any villa, felt quite privileged! Views from varying viewpoints, both internal and poolside yet another bonus. The view of the sunset is even better from the main bedroom terrace. The mini-market in the middle of the village had an impressive and varied stock of almost everything. John, Keith & Bev were all exceptionally helpful with local and general advice. The whole ethos of the villa and village proved an excellent combination.
