Client Reviews for Villa Tara

The pool is fantastic - nice and warm. In our opinion Teguise is one of the nicest villages but avoid market day, the market is huge but after seeing 1/2 a dozen stalls, you've seen them all. Timanfaya Park is well worth a visit but go early as the crowds cause delays. The marina has plenty of bars etc. and is very safe and friendly. The small supermarket is well stocked. We will return.

We had a lovely holiday. The villa was fabulous and we were delighted to have a midweek clean. The welcome pack was useful but we could have done with a little oil, herbs etc ( not sure how you would do this as all your provisions were new so it would be a waste probably). Provision of pool towels was unusual but very welcome ( compared with previous villas we have rented) as was the midweek towel change and clean. So all in all, an excellent week.

Very impressed with villa, clean and bright. Nice to have a midweek clean also. The pool area is lovely, as are the sofas on the front terrace. We did not venture out far, other than to the port one evening which was great. Weather has been lovely so very restful.

We've had a wonderful week...great villa in a super location. Puerto Calero is a lovely little place. We enjoyed good meals and tapas. We went to the beach @ Papagayo, Caleta Blanca and Orzola (incredible white sand, blue water and funny little shelters built from rock - handy on a breezy day). The pool is nice and heated, suitable for all ages. Lovely temperatures but sometimes windy.

Puerto Calero is really nice and safe. The cash machines didn't seem to work down there but the restaurants are all good. The villa is in a very quiet place.

Lovely relaxing stay at Villa Tara. Pool is fantastic and we had great weather every day to enjoy the loungers and swimming - great that it's heated in November! Puerto Calero a great spot to chill out locally with good restaurants and bars. We took the daytime ferry to Puerto del Carmen but also walked along the coast (about an hour each way, not suitable for pushchairs). Also there's a good walk - a little more challenging - in the other direction to Playa Quemada. Thanks again Vintage for all the arrangements and a great holiday - we're already planning our next and 5th trip to Lanzarote.
