Client Reviews for Casa das Rozadas

We were with our 2 children, 6 and 5, and we all enjoyed it alot. The welcome was very nice, the house very clean and well arranged. Overall everything was very nice. We really appreciated the calm and isolated area as we were coming from London, a little bit of peace was really appreciated. The children enjoyed the swimming pool alot and all the house's surroundings where they played alot of games. The Nigran and Baiona beaches were really nice, we had the chance to go to The Cies Islands, but you have to book in advance, it was magnificent! We would like to thank Severo and Mila for their welcome and all their help during the stay.

What a lovely villa, beautifully decorated and some lovely touches on our arrival. A welcome pack with all the essentials and more. Just what you need after travelling. We really appreciated the umbrella and cool bag - both really useful, as well as the beach mats, thank you. We visited Baiona and ate lovely crepes in the creperia on the main drag. We visited Vigo and the old town. Decathlon really useful for snorkels! We visited Pontevedra and rode bicycles around the town. Ate lovely tapas in Bar Chiruca. We went to Los Abetos for a special meal. Ate so many amazing meals! In A Guarda, really great seafood. Enjoyed mexican at Patos Beach, my son had a couple of surf lessons with Prado Surf. Wonderful views and fish stew at Timon Playa in Canido (along from Patos on the way to Vigo). Sunned ourselves on Panxon beach. Really enjoyed 2 great meals at La Abadia. My daughter had a beautiful birthday meal at Beiramar - fried cheese, sea bass and fresh pineapple - yum. What a wonderful holiday, coast road to Guarda is stunning, worth the drive. We were lucky with fabulous weather, gorgeous food, lovely villa, beautiful beaches, swimming, surfing and snorkelling.

We really enjoyed staying in such a lovely house in a stunning location that we didn't feel the need to go out much. We liked Baiona and enjoyed a stroll around the castle. We also visited Caminha in Portugal via the coastal route which was also very nice. We visited Pontevedra & Loaira Xantar Tapas restaurant which was excellent. Also took a sunset stroll to deserted 1960's picnic area along Farmao road. Mercadona best supermarket and Patos Beach.

We had a lovely stay here and enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day out. We really enjoyed a trip to Guarda and then Tui. We visited the Iles de Cies - recommend booking a few days ahead. There is a good supermarket in Gondomar which served all our needs. House is well equipped and our son really enjoyed exploring the outdoors. We found a cool bag in the cupboard on our last day so might be useful for the next guests.

Loved this modern quirky house. Very well equipped, Mila had thought of everything (except egg cups!). Enjoyed Baiona - wondering the back streets to find little Tapas bars. Good G&T with fabulous views from the terrace of the parador. Also liked the little beach through the archway. Like Praia America for easy parking and swimming. A Guarda a good drive along the coast for lunch - lots of seafood restaurants in quayside. We really enjoyed a day out to Tui and Valenca, just across the bridge in Portugal. Great views from both towns. Pontevedra also a good lunch stop - can reccommend restaurant in Plaza de Lena. Best of all was our boat trip to the Cis Islands - stunning. We preferrred the Mercadona supermarket - take Nigran exit off motorway (57) exit 11. Very new with lots of choice. Also walk up tarmac road to picnic area for terrific views of bay.

A beautiful house, perfect from an ‘away from it all’ kind of holiday. Very comfortable and Severo was most helpful. Great area for sightseeing; Tui is a must – go up to the top of the cathedral for the most amazing view! A Guarda also worth a visit. Fab restaurant in Nigrán, Los Abetos – great dining experience. Also, Restaurant Mar del Plata in Samil (go watch the sunset first) and Bar Michigan in Nigrán for tapas.

Restful and peaceful, a beautiful of the world. Had an enjoyable week at Casa das Rozadas, wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful beaches and ancient villages, we saw a lot; Cangas, Pontevedra, Ribadavia, Tui, Valença, Vigo. Thermal baths in Pontevedra, also in Prexigueiro. Lovely surf school at Praia de Patos. Ollo do Mar, great dive school in Cangas. Dived at Cies Islands and Mussel Farm in Cangas, very interesting. Delicious, organic, healthy food from source. Also loved Santiago de Compostela.

A wonderful week in Casa das Rozadas. Visit Baiona for a lovely promenade walk, quaint old town and great churros for breakfast opposite the tourist office. Praia América a lovely beach close by in Nigrán but we preferred Praia de Patos on the other side of the headland. Monte Aloia National Park is lovely and well organised with spectacular views and a restaurant at the top. Cies Islands are a must but book tickets in advance.
