Client Reviews for Torre de Valle Miñor

Our first visit to Galicia. Good directions from Vigo airport. Great first appearance of the villa, immediatly walked around the front to the superbly manicured garden and pool. Had to double check the grass was real! We loved the rolling garden and the trees are superbly placed. The various seating areas created multiple views and different platforms to view the magnificent mountain backdrop. Loved it immediatly! We resided at the front of the villa, good decent front bedroom and shower. Decent sized kitchen and good comfortable front room space. We didn't need to use the A/C as high ceilings and cool interiors were more than comfortable enough. We enjoyed table tenmnis and basketball and the pool was the best we've ever had in the villas we have stayed in so far. Overall we loved the place and the feeling returning from days out was can't wait to get home to the villa. The beaches were good, nice meal in A Guarda - good sea views all the way there. Great holiday!

Our first holiday in Spain and we have to say Galicia is amazingly lovely region. Everyone has been friendly and tolerant of our limited Spanish. We have got to know Gondomar, Baiona and the surrounding countryside well. The house and pool are perfect. We have made great use of the facilities, long afternoons in the pool, the occasional tennis, a lot of basketball and some great mini table tennis tournaments. Evening meals have been outside, and then games sitting on the comfy seats in the porch, accompanied by a very chilled glass of wine. When not enjoying ourselves at the villa we have been out and avbout exploring. All in all a fabulous holiday in a fabulous place!

We flew into Porto and spent 48 hours there before heading over the border - a great 9 day trip! The house is great! Our boys (10 & 7) have spent hours in the pool and have been lucky to have plenty of sun and lovely long evenings. Table tennis, tennis & basketball very popular. Our most succesful trip has been to the Cies Islands, which are beautiful and well worth the 40 minute boat trip from Vigo, in fact the boat trip itself was fun too! Drove inland over the hills to Ourense one day too, which was good. Lush countryside and very unspoilt. All in all a lovely trip and all very easy and relaxed, thank you.

This is a beautiful house with an amazing pool and garden. Sadly the weather wasn't always good during our stay but with the heated pool we managed to swim every day. Baiona is lovely and very lively in the evenings.

A good, well equipped house with a fantastic pool and garden. Beware of the hob hood if you are very tall! We enjoyed the pool, tennis, basketball and badminton. We found the Carrefour and Mercadona supermarkets better than the local Froiz. A Gurada is worth a visit especially if you take the coast road from Baiona. Baiona itself is a lovely town and very lively in the evenings with some good restaurants. it's worth paying the small charge to walk around the walls of the fort in the grunds of the Parador Hotel. The underground car park at the entrance was convenient. Santiago de Compostela on a Sunday was a good trip.

I stayed in this extremely comfortable and well designed property (the owner is an architect) and would have no doubt in recommending it to family and friends. It enjoys a peaceful countryside location yet is only 1.5km from Gondomar, a quaint town with some great restaurants to chose from and a vibrant fresh food market. The white sandy beaches are just a short drive away. I would love to come back in the summer with a group of friends. The gardens and terraces are spacious, the exterior furniture make it the ideal place to enjoy lazy days around the pool and BBQs.
