Client Reviews for Pedrouco

Thanks Gloria and German, what a lovely home and beautiful gardens. Well worth it when we got here.

Thanks for a lovely holiday in a fabulous house. We loved the setting - waking up to the views and eating Al Fresco watching the sun go down was wonderful. Gondomar is quiet and relaxing - great bakery - lots of cafes and tapas bars for stopping out. Vigo was very big and very busy. A Guarda good to visit, Baiona more happening and easy to navigate around. We found that in most shops and bars little English was spoken but we managed to get by with little bits of Spanish and a phrase book. The enormous BBQ kept Nick very happy - if only he could recreate one at home! The week has flown by - no need to leave the house as the pool is great, garden relaxing and house comfortable. Thankyou Gloria & German.

A great house, one we enjoyed more and more as our two weeks progressed. The usual 'wish we could stay longer' as our time here ends. Galicia has been what we'd hoped for, good weather, sunny, hot but not too much (cooler than London at the moment!), good food, friendly people, perfect beaches... We enjoyed Vigo, Baiona as the near town with atmosphere, restaurants, activities etc. Gondomar for quiet times, great bakery & restaurants. Overall a lovely time we've had and hope to return. Thanks to Gloria & German as hosts and Vintage Travel for organising. And the Cies Islands a very good place for a day or two.

Thank you for a lovely 2 weeks. We had good trips to Tui, Valenca, O Rosal, Baiona, A Guarda and Monte Aloia, and would recommend them all. We ate at restaurant La Vitrola - the pizzas are excellent. The waitress has no English but we got by with our phrasebook and google translate. Bakery La Copena was the best for us, they will make up sandwiches to your liking which helped the vegetarian in our family! There is a festival in Gondomar this weekend which we are sorry to have missed. The house has been delightful. Thank you.
