Client Reviews for La Cour

Wow! Words fail, almost. This was a quite wonderful stay - to find such an oasis of calm in the heart of so bustling a town is rare indeed! We cannot fault the welcome, the arrangements, the facilities. Everything was just perfect for us but the eponymous courtyard, with its delightful pool, cast a magical and unforgettable spell. A good range of books, games and pcitures added greatly to the charm and the rooms, balconies and alcoves were delightful. In short, we loved it: very many thanks!

A lovely and well equipped house. The house manager was great helping us on arrival - nothing too much trouble!

We are delighted to have been the first guests to stay at La Cour. The house has been very comfortable, spacious and extremely well-equipped. We have enjoyed being able to walk to the local restaurants and explore the town. We took a longer trip to Cité de la Space at Toulouse which we all enjoyed. The sun has shone, we have all relaxed and indulged in the wonderful French food. Special thanks to the house manager, John, for a lovely welcome when we arrived. To all who stay after us bonnes vacances and we hope you have fun!

Offering something a little different to our rural properties, La Cour is a townhouse in the heart of Gaillac. It offers the ease of having everything on your doorstep as well as having your own private pool and courtyard. Wake up in the morning and it is a short walk to get the fresh croissants from the local bakery for a leisurely breakfast on the terrace. Explore the old streets and discover the architecture of this old town or take the train to Albi (a UNESCO World Heritage site) or the pink city of Toulouse. Not forgetting the surrounding countryside with its many wine domaines.
La Cour is officially one of my favourite houses in our programme! It is actually two houses knocked together and very nicely refurbished for 2018. Right in the centre of town, but amazingly quiet, private and spacious for a town house. Shops, restaurants and all amenities are within a short walk and Gaillac has a lovely feel to it.
