Client Reviews for Can Pitu

We loved our stay at Can Pitu. Its a beautiful house in such a special, peaceful village. The owner was very friendly. The welcome pack was great, as always. We ate in Bar Quel which was fabulous and cheap!! We also went on our last night and joined in with the Catalan Day celebrations. Was a special time. Delicious fish and traditional rice dishes at Iberic. Super to stroll there in the evenings. (literally two mins away!) we love Tamariu best and hired paddle boards, jumped off the rocks and ate at Es Dofi. Also liked Aigua Blava, but busy so walked over the steps to a very secluded, rocky beach. Loved it there. Calella was lovely in the evening and swimming was good in Llafranc. We visited Girona on a rainy day which was worth the trip. Stunning views from Sebastian viewpoint as well. Great holiday. Thank you. Only minor problem was the air conditioning wasn't very effective.

What a beautiful village to spend an unexpectedly beautiful week of 25 degree weather. We ate our way around the towns and villages, the best being Candelaria in Peratallada. My dad said his best meal ever. Lots of foam etc but truly memorable. Not cheap tho' (wood smoked chocolate!) Funky tapas bar by the sea, Calau, in Calella. Lovely food. On our last day, Chez Tomas in Llafranc (also our best beach). Grandpa won the Ullastret April 2017 pool tournament. A good time was had by all.

We all had a fabulous time at Can Pitu. Arrived at the end of the fiesta and enjoyed festivities in the square, together with Estrella on tap and crepes. Spent lazy days around the pool, with trips out after 5pm to Llafranc, Sa Tuna and Peratallada. Great stay - thank you!

Perfect house. Love Ullastret.

Fantastic time at Can Pitu. Day trips to the many beaches and coastal towns very worthwhile. Aiguablava, Sa Tuna and Tamariu, in particular, lovely for a swim and snorkel. A trip to Pals highly recommended for the village, shops and lunch. The bar is great for an early evening cool down drink. The food is also great. Iberic also a tasty local meal. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a special place. The villa was fabulous and the town even more so. Beautiful hot weather, so based ourselves round the pool, with visits to local beaches from 5pm onwards - cooler and less busy! Lovely meals in Llafranc and the village. All in all a super holiday. Very chilled, quite lovely to feel like you're in rural Spain, but so close to the Costa Brava. Hope to see Can Pitu again.

We all love it here and the villa more than lived up to expectations. Lovely atmostphere and restoration. Pool was a great hit. Visited several beaches; Castell, Tamariu, Llafranc and Aiguablava. Wined and dined well, mainly at lunchtimes near beach. Bar at the end of road was good. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful week here at Can Pitu. We have used the small shop in the village for basics, bread, ham, cheese, water. The bar/restaurant is good and great fun when all the locals are in. The only disappointment was that we did not have enough time to visit all the other lovely beaches and places in the area.
The Bartley Party

Wonderful stay in Can Pitu celebrating Dad's 70th. Enjoyed local beaches Llafranc, Calella, Aiguablava. Visited the market at Palafrugell and loved a wander around Cap Roig gardens. Peretallada is stunningly beautiful with gorgeous shops!
The Morris Party

Lovely villa and bedrooms, made great use of the pool and sunbathing! Enjoyed family breakfasts supplied by the croissants from the local shop in the square, which is great for topping up on things. Restaurant by the shop is nice for an evening drink. Also, very nice restaurant 'The Snail', further up from the square, which was lovely and had very friendly staff.
