Client Reviews for El Aljarafe

We have stayed in villas in Andalucia over the past 20 years but have never returned to any - despite the fact almost all have been lovely, Vintage Travel villas being of a particularly high standard. But El Aljarafe is so perfect that this is our second visit, and I think we will be back! Location, facilities and the delightful owner make it very special.

A wonderful house and location for our week's holiday in beautiful Andalucia. We have enjoyed several walks through the gorges and mountains of the region. The views have been spectacular along with the flowers and trees at this time of the year. We loved seeing the procession through Ronda on Easter Sunday and would love to return during Holy Week and take in the spectacle. We are sad to be going home but will take back very fond and happy memories of a fabulous holiday. Thank you very much.

We would just like to say that the standard of your villas is probably the best we have found. Also may we take this opportunity to say how helpful Georgina our representative was. She really did go the extra mile for us so please pass our thanks on to her. We also met the owners of the property and Pepe was such a lovely person and sorted out the minor electric problem we had. We saw him about three times and he was more than helpful. He even popped round the night before we left to say goodbye as he knew we were leaving early in the morning and he wished us a safe journey, said how nice it was to meet us and hoped he would see us again. We loved him. Obviously we found the best restaurant on our last day (recommended by Georgina)just as you go into Arriate, called elmuelle, the owner Frank was exceptionally welcoming and took time at all the tables to go through the menu, the food was out of this world and it wasn't a fortune either, in fact it was extremely cheap for what we had. Anyway we are off to Menorca with your good selves in about a month and no doubt will not be disappointed. Thank you Vintage!!!!!

The villa and grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The owners live next door and are extremely helpful but discrete. We loved Ronda and the surrounding villages. Before going we were a little worried about finding things on the restaurant menus for our daughter to eat but there was loads of choice of steaks, ox tail, pizzerias, salmon, king prawns to name but a few. A lovely part of Spain to explore and the villa was just the icing on the cake.

We had a fabulous holiday here and the villa was beautiful. The nearest town of Ronda is absolutely stunning with amazing views and is well worth exploring as there is so much to see. It is worth looking on Trip Advisor for recommendations of tapas restaurants in the town as we did and had some amazing food. If you like Spanish flamenco music go to the tourist info office and get details of performances of Celia Morales who lives in the town. We went one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. If you have time, the Cuevas de las Piletas are well worth a visit as are some of the white villages such as Setenil and Grazelema. We visited Seville but would recommend not bothering with a bus tour as most of the beautiful areas such as the Jewish Quarter and the parks are easily accessible. Cadiz is well worth a visit and you have the beach to chill out on later when you've finished exploring. We didn't get to Granada this time but two of our family have been before and say it is lovely. We hope you have as wonderful a holiday as we did.

Another fantastic holiday. Ronda is a fantastic place. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Probably the best villa we have been to.

Really pleased with our villa in Ronda. Have stayed with you before and will definitely book future villas with you. The welcome food pack is a big bonus on arrival.

We have had a beautiful and eventful holiday. Things that happened on our holiday: * Sam (aged one and a bit) learned to walk * Michael had his 30th birthday and we cooked a big paella * Izumi and Michael had their 5th wedding anniversary * Mark and Helen got engaged on the balcony. HAPPY MEMORIES! Thank You. We will never forget our stay
