Client Reviews for O Chapitel

We have had a wonderful holiday with friends and family in this beautiful villa overlooking the ocean. The area is so authentically Spanish and Brit-free, we loved it! Can't wait to be back.

This is a comfortable, well equipped villa in a stunning position. Amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and sunsets greet you on a daily basis. The owner and her family were very helpful, despite limited English (and Spanish on our part!) - thank goodness for Google translate! Our favourite place to visit was Santiago de Compostela - fantastic Spanish charm and great Tapas. Biaona is also lovely. We took a ferry from here to Cies Island which was a great mixture of tropical like beaches and dramatic atlantic facing cliffs. The walks behind the villa are great too. Our favourite place to eat was Taperia A Camboa which is near the Monastery de Oia, stunning views, great service and tasty food. This is our second villa with Vintage Travel, great service and wonderful villas. We will be using you again. Thank you

Enjoyed this location, close to the sea and the lovely sunsets on a fine day...Cies Islands are worth a trip. Santiago and Porto are interesting cities as is the Roman Fort at A Guarda. Nice that it is so Spanish here.

Very happy indeed with our stay at O Chapitel, fantastic house in a fantastic location. To be honest, we spent most of the time outdoors, either by the pool or enjoying the BBQ in the evening watching the sun go down! It was also great to discover a new part of Spain- and we loved it. Overall, we are very happy with both Vintage Travel and the house itself. The owners were also very happy and friendly!

We’ve had a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful and the whole family has really enjoyed it. Thank you for everything!

Loved the villa, plenty of room for us. Great ocean views & sunsets. Vigo - very interesting. Tui worth a visit as is Valenca in Portugal, lovely fortified town above the Mino River. A trip up the hills/mountains behind Baiona has terrific views, go on a sunny day. First time in Galicia, won’t be our last.

A wonderful villa with spectacular views. Lulled to sleep by the Atlantic – heaven! Best holiday runs we’ve had – we admire your cycle routes and the quality of the roads (unlike England!). Spanish people all most friendly and helpful. Was last in Spain 40 years ago and it was a welcome return. Thank you!

We had a lovely family holiday here at O Chapitel. We enjoyed the house and the pool as well as visiting the surrounding area. Our daily trips took us to Baiona, A Guarda, Valenca, Tui, Vigo and Pontevedra. We enjoyed all these places and the food they had to offer. We will miss the sound of the ocean.

Relaxing setting over the sea, perfect for a family break to unwind. Enjoyed spending time in Baiona, walking around the Parador walls, streets of the Old Town and cakes and ice creams on seafront, delicious! Favourite restaurant Jaqueyui, Baiona, best beach Playa America, though plenty we didn’t explore along Peninsula de Morrazo. Visits to Tui, Santa Tecla celtic settlement, Pontevedra all worthwhile. A Guarda - locals seem fond of processions and bagpipes! Would love to return to spend more time in this region in the future!

Fantastic week with beautiful weather in this lovely, well equipped house. Don’t miss the walk behind the house (right and up through the gates) and up into the hills which gives some really special views. Tui is a worthwhile day trip - pay the 3 euros in the cathedral so that you can go into the Cloisters and see the great views to Portugal. Praia America - good family beach with somewhere pleasant to sit and watch. Had two good meals in Jaqueyui just off the front in Baiona (about 5 mins walk from underground car park). Enjoy your holiday!
