Client Reviews for Llanama

We have used Vintage Travel a few times over the last few years and have always been impressed with the service received and the standard of villa we have stayed in.

We had used Llanama before, so knew it was good, and also knew how good and helpful was Georgina, the local rep in Ronda. We were also again hugely lucky with the weather, only the last two days being at all wet.

Thank you for sharing the peace and quiet and tranquility of Llanama with us. My family had a fabulous time and espcially enjoyed the pool and the vultures.

Very relaxing stay at Llanama. we really enjoyed the pool and basketball court. The tennis was fun with the bounce! We visited Ronda in the evening (Georgina's advice) It wasnt too hot and we had a lovely walk around the old town and dinner overlooking the bridge. Grazalema is a lovely village and we drove up and had morning coffee and cakes in the square. Al Lago restaurant in Zahara is very nice too.

We have enjoyed our time at El Gastor. Ronda, Grazalema, Zahara and Olvera were great to visit. Best of all are the VERY friendly poeple of El Gastor - especially the lady at the bread shop and the bar at the end of the village.

You need a sense of humour for the bounce on the tennis court. Then a sense of awe at the scenery and setting and facilities.

Wowza Scorchie! Thank you Raul for sharing your amazing home. The view and pool have been a godsend. We have enjoyed getting up early for lots of family tennis too. Day trips, Ronda a must! Zahara great resturant and views, make sure you go up to the town sqaure at the top too for real traditional spanish feel. You can drive up if its too hot. El Gastor for a bit of tapas and drink was very cheap and friendly. There is a mimarket by the mini roundabout too for a top-up shop. A lovely restfull holiday.

A scorching fortnight! Thank goodness for a great pool. Our forth visit to the area. Lots of good walks - recommnded for hot weather Benamohoma to El Bosque, by the river and in the trees. For great views climb the El Gastor mountain, well at least to the Dolmen del Gigante. Best place for dinner? well sittingby the pool at Llanama watching the sun go down, the house martins swooping over the water and then bats swooping around.

We have enjoyed a wonderful second villa break with Vintage Travel. The villa was perfect with amazing views. The pool was a good size and we made the most of the tennis court and basketball court after sunset under the floodlights. It was really relaxing and peaceful home for a week with our now grown up family. This part of Spain was far more beautiful then we expected. We visited the stunning local villages where everyone was so friendly and food and drink both excellent and very cheap. We took a trip to Seville using the park and ride train service as recommended in the house book. It was a great way to experience the city; we'd love to return there for a city break when its not so hot as we nearly melted in the heat. We only wish that we had booked a second week as we didn't want to leave. Thanks to our rep Georgina who was lovely and so helpful. The McKennas

We have had a very enjoyable stay at Llanama. The first two days were warm but then we experienced unseasonably cool and wet weather. We have visited Ronda - splendid; Jerez, really enjoyed the tour of Gonzalez Byass and the Alcazar; Cordoba - the amazing Mesquita and Seville - fabulous. Had some good food along the way in a variety of places. The weather improved for the last two days for our visit to Seville which was our favourite destination and a tour of the white villages including Stetenil and Zahara. The Roman Ruins at Acinipo are interesting too. The walk to El Gastor is easy and there is a pavement along the road, food shops open until 2pm and there are some nice bars - good for a orientation activity on the first day!
