Client Reviews for Casa Aréas

Casa Areas was a well maintained property in a fabulous location. Absolutely loved it!

We had a fantastic family holiday at Casa Areas, the sea views and sunsets at the villa were outstanding. Wonderful large pool and close to amazing beaches. Aurea, the owner, was there to greet us and though she speaks no English we made ourselves understood. The villa was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. The outdoor eating areas (3) were wonderful and the ball games area was an additional surprise. Excellent restaurant in walking distance and we hit a September week when a festival was taking place. Galicia is a great area and we really should have booked for 2 weeks as there is so much to see and do. We are a family of three generations (we had a 7 month old baby with us) and everybody had a thoroughly good time. The weather was lovely during our stay, which helped, and we would recommend this beautiful area and villa to all. Thanks to Aurea for the loan of her home and the team at Vintage Travel, I would definitely book through you again.

Fantastically chilled week, lovely weather apart from one overcast day (went to Vigo on the ferry, saw dolphins and spent a lot in Zara!!) Highly recommend Nerga beach, very beautiful (amongst others), sea is calm and gentle, plenty of provisions available. Must recommend small restaurant at entrance to the beach (no name) but No.109 – 2 guys, lots of pictures The Beatles – Abbey Road, good music, relaxed & great food – very hospitable (best food in Galicia so far) – fish simply cooked – with home cooked chips.

We’ve had a great holiday. It has been wonderful visiting Galicia and our lasting memories will be of everything connected with the sea and the outdoors. The house and pool have been a lovely base. Many thanks Aurea for a wonderful and memorable holiday for all of us!

Really fabulous 2 weeks (came last year too!). Such a fantastic setting, house and pool. Thank you Aurea and team, loved it!

Fantastic house, amazing area with particular highlights: Limens beach, Nerga beach, Cangas, boat trip to the Cies Islands, Baiona, Restaurante Casa Broullón, Restaurante Casa Porrón in Cangas. The shop shop at the top of the hill is great for fresh bread, croissants and other essentials.

We had a fantastic stay here and loved the house. The beaches in the area are all beautiful but we decided we liked the beaches closest to the house the most. Highlights: Walking over the hills to Playa Nerga, the pool, the ball court, swimming the length of Limens cove, Cangas and its fish market. All in all, a memorable visit to this area of Spain.

Casa Aréas provided us with a perfect base in this unspoilt corner of Spain. The views from the balcony over the Cies Islands are simply stunning and provide the perfect place to sip Ribeiro and eat Paella. The swimming pool and the gardens here made it difficult to leave the house but a short walk brings you to a beautiful beach if you prefer the sea. A truly relaxing holiday. Thank you.

Views were absolutely stunning and most evenings spent playing cards, talking and drinking wine. Santiago is a must and the islands are well worth visiting, lovely walks and beautiful views. All in all, we’ve had a wonderful week in this unspoilt area of Spain.

We have had a wonderful 2 weeks here. The villa, pool & ball games are brilliant. We have relaxed & done very little (a well needed break was required)! We have enjoyed good food and wine and our boys have loved the space, the swimming pool and the beach. Not looking forward to going home but sadly the time has come! A great holiday. Thank you.
