Client Reviews for Son Genet

We needed a holiday that would be relaxing, safe and simple with a little luxury to lift our spirits. My daughters and I were not disappointed - the house was very beautiful and secluded and although we rattled around a bit in all the space it was lovely to be somewhere so tranquil - our only downfall was in not letting ourselves relax enough and feeling that we 'should' go out and about occasionally! Everything was well thought out, from the website and booking process, the car and directions, the response to queries to the representative, the quality of the beds and furnishings, and the kitchen was a particular success - we have been on holidays before where it has been almost impossible to cook because of the quality of the equipment and utensils. The only possible improvement I could suggest would be 100% cotton bedlinen. Thank you very much.

Our families 6th visit in total and Son Genet is the gift that keeps on giving. The new extension is fabulous – keeping standards super high. We’ll be back! Do tell us first if you plan to sell!

What an amazing villa Son Genet is. We have had a fantastic week’s stay in your lovely villa Toni. The box of oranges for our fresh orange juice each morning was a very welcome addition – thank you. The two children had a great time playing around the patios and pool area, and spent many hours enjoying the pool. The walk up to the village was interesting but unfortunately we never found the donkey. Thank you Toni for a great Mallorcan experience.

A wonderful holiday in this amazing villa, celebrating 40 happy years of marriage with our three children and friends Sue + Yoz. Lovely weather spent by the pool, exploring the northern part of the island and eating out. The four grandchildren really enjoyed the pool and the gifts left by other residents. Thank you to Toni and Laura (the Vintage Rep) who made everything work so well.

Wonderful time!!! What a wonderful setting, so quiet. We all loved the house, pool and grounds. Everyone very sorry to leave. The oranges and Toni are special. Loved the walk up into the village and the visit to the shops. Have a coffee and sit and relax at the café in front of the church. Wonderful visits out to the northern cape and mountains north of the motorway. Children loved the pool, as we all did. Go down and see the donkeys and walk through the orange trees, outside evening meals a real treat. We have had the best family holiday imaginable – Thank you!!

Thank you Toni for enabling us to stay in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed the finest orange juice and our visit to the donkeys, our steep climb into town and hours in the hammock! We particularly appreciated the recycling bins on site. We have wound down to a complete halt and loved every minute.

A fantastic 2 week holiday at Son Genet and we will definitely be back. The photographs don’t do justice to the house – wonderful details in and around the house. Kristel and Louis (the poolman) were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice. Toni was the perfect landlord; attentive, discrete and provided us with the famous oranges! The location of the villa is first class for exploring the island – particularly the North. Many thanks Toni and Vintage Travel. Hasta Luego! X

Thank you for a lovely week at your gorgeous villa. We all enjoyed the pool, huge rooms and the beach (especially Platja Formentor). We ended the week with a meal cooked by Catarina (Taula Posada), a fitting conclusion to our time here – a banquet of Mallorcan cuisine. Loved Mallorca and will definitely be back. Ps. Many thanks for the oranges – a real treat.

Lovely week, beautiful surprise the villa was gorgeous, better than expected, with a lovely entrance through the orange grove. Lovely opportunity for the family to be together and to see the cousins who live locally and run Simply Kerly, the restaurant nearby. The beach at Formentor was amazing clear sea, amazing views, a real must for a visit. Pollenca old town and Alcudia old town well worth visiting, full of excellent restaurants and lots of historical interest.

Our second visit to this lovely villa and we enjoyed it just as much the first time round. The views from the pool deck are wonderful with a lovely backdrop of birdsong. We can recommend the crusty oval loaf at the bakers, worth a walk up the path. We visited Valldemossa this year – a beautiful village with plenty to see and some lovely shops. The very good Mare Nostrum restaurant was fully booked so we missed out. We did enjoy the paella at the Pulpo Loco restaurant, just off the main square in Sa Pobla. The Sunday market in Sa Pobla is well worth a visit, excellent fresh produce at very low prices.
