Client Reviews for Los Milagros

Fabulous week – boiling sunshine so made full use of the pool and air con in this most wonderful place. Really appreciated Jose Luis coming so early in the morning and keeping the pool lovely and clear. Also great info book. Appreciated having Georgina on hand. Our highlights were: Chocolate and Churros in Ronda. Circular drive along to Grazalema then back over Mountain road to Zahara. Mercadona in Olvera. Castle in Olvera. Pan from El Gastor Baker. And of course – looking at the view and also admiring the relaxed pace of life. Happy Holidays fellow travellers!

We’ve had a really lovely week at Los Milagros. After the first day was spent relaxing by the soothing pool, we went to Grazalema and Zahara via the mountain road. Great drive and very beautiful. We enjoyed the horses in Jerez and some tapas at Sandeman Bodegas. We really enjoyed all that Ronda had to offer – shopping, tapas, helados, churros, the bull ring and wandering through the old town to the Arabian Baths. Most of all however, is how wonderful this villa is. Thanks to jose Luis for keeping such a lovely home from home. Georgina for her advice early on – it really helped us pack in as much as we did. We hope to be back some day.

This was our fourth year in the area which we love. Los Milagros is our favourite villa by far

Our arrival coincided with the feast of Corpus Christi when the main street in El Gastor and Zahara are strewn with rushes and the facades of the buildings covered with branches of palms, oleander and eucalyptus. Quite a special occasion. Our first week very pleasant and sunny, a recommended easy walk from the station at Benaoján to the Cueva del Gato. The wild flowers are gorgeous and the path takes you to a cave, wonderful waterfall and lovely large lagoon attracting many birds. Lunch at Molino del Santo, at the end of the walk recommended. Second week, very hot – more time in the pool rather than walking!

Georgina was a real credit to your company. She was really knowledgeable, extremely friendly and very welcoming. The house was so clean and had a very homely and welcoming feel to it, the gardens and the pool were perfectly maintained and the contrasting views from the terrace of mountains and lakes were nothing short of spectacular. When outside, only the sound of birdsong disturbed the peace and whilst watching the majestic eagles flying overhead I wondered whether I'd booked a villa in Paradise rather than Spain. I obviously really enjoyed my time at this villa as I've just booked it again next year for a fortnight, and although I could have chosen a more modern one for my holiday, I didn't, as the views from this villa are far too spectacular to miss out on. Thank you Vintage Travel.

A glorious sun drenched week- the villa is one of the best, cleanest, well equipped and most private that we have ever stayed in over 5 decades on 3 continents. Many thanks to Georgina and Vintage Travel. We hope to return.

Fantastic week. Stunning views. What a wonderful location in the mountains. Peaceful. The villa was lovely, comfy, clean and comfortable. Perfect position to visit lots of different places. Our rep was great and text us with local events that she thought we might like. Sevilla worth a visit. We had a wonderful evening of tapas and flamenco in El Gastor, thanks to Georgina for the tip. The Caves at La Pileta are amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for a fantastic holiday.
