Client Reviews for Cortijo de Cabreron

I enjoyed going to the cactus gardens to see all the different cacti. I didn’t know there were so many! I have had a fantastic week in Lanzarote, in this lovely villa. Juan is very helpful and kind. I enjoyed visiting Haria market, and eating out in local restaurants, especially El Marinero, in Arrieta. Thank you. We’ve enjoyed a lovely relaxing time here in this gorgeous villa. Weather has been mostly warm and sunny, although very windy and the odd shower of rain. We visited some places we’ve been to before (August 2013) and some new ones – El Golfo and Los Herederos, where the waves were huge, very exciting! Juan has been extremely kind, helpful and friendly as last time and again let me practice my Spanish with him! Muchas gracias Juan! I’m sure we will be back. Juan is so welcoming and will offer help and advice to suit whatever you wish to know or want to do. The lovely, quiet location of this villa is ideal for getting away from it all and totally relaxing. This island is great for the ‘birds’ with some good species on offer and always something unusual if you ‘bird’ hard enough. Many lovely restaurants around, with wonderful fresh fish dishes on offer… Lots to do too... Making Lanzarote a lovely holiday location. …. We will be back and will definitely stay here!!

Spent a week just relaxing, eating and drinking. The house that ‘Juan’ built was perfect for what we wanted, easy to get to places and convenient for the essentials. Our host Juan was most helpful.

Another wonderful holiday but what an eventful final week – torrential rain for 4 days. The change in the landscape was amazing. Lots of time for tea and cake too at the German bakery in Tahiche (left hand side if LZ1 going into town between the two roundabouts). Also decided to visit Hairia via the LZ1O off the LZ1 at Arrieta. Juan was a fabulous as ever. Thank you. Take care and good health until we see you again. It was lovely to meet your wife and family.

Thank you Juan for sharing your lovely house! We’ve had a lovely time. We especially enjoyed playing where’s Wally? With the cats! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we went to the beach and had a glorious swim if you want a swim in the sea, are Caleton Blanco and Playa de Famara by the wonderful restaurant and harbour.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lanzarote; the beaches, scenery, markets, architecture of history; and of course the weather! But most of all we enjoyed the peace and solitude of Juan’s house. It has been a privilege to stay here; and Juan’s welcoming, friendly and helpful manner helped make it so. We wish him well, and hope to come back again one day…

Fantastic holiday! Tried lots of the beaches. If you forget about the commercialism in Costa Teguise, the beach at the end of the main road is lovely especially if you go down the more rocky side on the left. We spent several hours early in the morning with snorkels and fins watching the fish on the reef. The beach at Playa de Famara was also lovely with the crashing waves. A great place for body boarding despite the strong currents. Juan has a lovely house to explore from; Jameos del Aqua is lovely but go early (10am). Go to Haria market on a Saturday morning and the Timanfaya Park late in the day when the big queue has gone – after 2.30pm – 3pm. Thank you for the use of your house. Thanks for a great holiday!

The representative was Juan the owner of the property that has been in his family for many years. His property was lovely in a quiet location out of town ideal for rest and relaxation. It is also in a good location for exploring the island.

This was a lovely property, well up to your usual standards.

What a lovely house in a beautiful location. Décor tasteful and all facilities great. We have spent a very happy week here. Also a great place from which to explore the whole island. Best restaurants – “La Era” in Yaiza and “La cantina” in Teguise (we pre-booked a table in the Secret Garden for lunch on Sunday during the market - cue smug smile!) Beaches, caves, cycling on La Graciosa and cold bottles in tropical bliss. Thanks Juan. We had a blast!
