Client Reviews for Casa Mariola

This was our first visit to Lanzarote without the children! Hence to say we have visited all the places we were unable to see before on our previous visits. We loved Haria and the market. El Golfo is a must if you love fish and just want to sit and enjoy watching the sea, so peaceful. We spent a few days just soaking up the sun around the pool, it is definitely lovely and peaceful. All in all a lovely relaxing 10 days, we didn't want to go home.

We love Lanzarote, the first with VT on the island but 6th holiday with this excellent company. It was lovely to stay in Las Brenas, a typical Canarian village.Victor, the owner did a welcoming and thorough job of showing us around his spacious, clean, ordered villa. We appreciated the private pod for sunbathing. The local shop and restaurants are good.

The villa was fantastic, the owner Victor met with me on my arrival and gave me a full tour of the property and useful information about the local facilities. He was friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The location of the villa is ideal; many beaches, villages, restaurants, shops etc really close by. As ever a wonderful holiday in a wonderful villa. Relaxation - Vintage style!

Casa Mariola was perfect. Clean, fully equipped, a really lovely villa. Papagayo beaches are quiet as is the cafe on the cliffs. The volcanoes were amazing and our 5 year old loved the camel ride. A really wonderful holiday - thank you. We will be back!

After a very hectic year, Diana and I needed a spat of serious rest and recuperation. We wanted a special villa – with lots of room, a proper pool, very well appointed & with first class service. We wanted a special location away from the ‘meddling crowd’ & with interesting and unusual places to visit, in other words, a unique and memorable experience – and that’s what we got!! Thank you Vintage Travel for finding this villa in this location and thank you Victor for being such a good host.

Good villa, lovely location. Village very safe. Both restaurants very good, friendly owners. Erea, next door, has beautiful pottery and jewellery, well worth a visit. Los Tres have fantastic ‘papas’ (potatoes). Best restaurants we found outside the village were in El Golfo and Playa Quemada. Thank you to Victor & Mariola.

A lovely villa very thoughtfully prepared by Victor and Mariola. A very good base for exploring the island and a very nice place to ‘come home‘ to. Sarah and Marco at the restaurant / supermercado – a very friendly couple and very informative and always helpful. Very relaxing holiday.

What a fantastic villa!! We felt very at home, lovely space here. Very clean and tidy and a great layout. We especially enjoyed the pool and the locked gates to keep the children safe, so a 100% feedback on that as well as the villa. We also felt that the new wall around the pool is fantastic too, very private for us and we felt very comfortable. Lovely views too. Great shopping and markets. All the national parks are great, well worth the money. Thank you for our stay! :)

A very comfortable & spacious villa. Good location for exploring the island. Timanfaya is a must. Yaiza is very pretty. Loved Los Hervideros & restaurants at El Golfo. Puerto Calero worth a visit and the beaches at Papagayo. A wonderful, relaxing week!

Villa was excellent. It was more of a home than a holiday cottage and we felt really at ease right away. It is well located for seeing around the island. Initial impressions were that Lanzarote is rather barren, given the volcanic nature of much of the surrounding areas, but we were surprised at how much there was to do and to see. The villa facilities are excellent, but the pool is rather small. The owner, Victor, was there to greet us on arrival and gave us a very comprehensive set of instructions on how to operate all of the equipment in the house, and provided much useful information about the general area, the places to visit and to eat. Everyone we met, Victor, the cleaner and gardeners, were all very friendly and courteous.
