Client Reviews for Villa La Acequia

We enjoyed the beautiful island of Lanzarote and this amazing villa. We visited lots of the attractions but not all, so are already planning another visit! A flamenco night with musicians and dancers at tapas bar Gullivers was great fun.

Villa Acequia provided us with a comfortable home in Lanzarote. Real home from home. After 2 days of windy weather which allowed us to fully rest and read books the weather improved to a perfect 22-25 degrees. We loved walking into Tinajo mid morning for a coffee and a caracola (pastry swirl) from the bakery opposite the church. Take the car to the church of Dolores (a few miles west) on a Sunday 8-2pm for an agrcultural market for fresh produce, fantastic breads, pastry and fruit.

Loved this beautiful villa, the fabulous views and rural location. Both owners and neighbours were extremely friendly and helpful as was the butcher in the Unide Supermarket. As an ardant foodie I would recommend 'La Caleta' in Famara for both light and main meals. It is located on the left-hand side of Avd El Marinero just past the more obvious cafes and restaurants. A great holiday.

Lovely week and wonderful views! Weather good, just one chilly day. Of particular note were our visits to the home of Cesar Manrique, El Golfo and the National Park of Timanfaya. We headed south to Playa Blanca, nice marina to have lunch and look at all the boats. A bumpy ride to Papagayo but well worth it, beautiful beaches and fantastic snorkelling. A great intro to Lanzarote, I'm sure we'll be back.

Beautiful setting in a chilled out villa. We recommend a trip to Famara, a chilled out harbour village. We paid a visit to Es Graciosa which was beautiful, even the drive to Orzola waa lovely. The ferry ride was a little choppy but good fun. Tasty meal at restaurant in La Santa.

Lovely villa. Good weather (25+ most days) Fish man in the village is amazing - never seen filleting like it!

This has been our 3rd visit to Lanzarote. We much enjoyed relaxing both around the pool or inside the lovely villa. The walk up the hill behind the house is well worth while - amazing views.

Our 2nd visit to this peaceful villa in the sunny island of Lanzarote. We used the pool most days to cool down. The owners had remembered our suggestion to have 2 chairs for the front patio to watch the sunset, they were perfect and made by them.

Had a lovely holiday in Lanzarote. Lots to see and do. Villa is lovely, lots of nice restaurants on the island, we found the locals very friendly and helpful, a lovely time had by all. The owners are very welcoming. Many thanks.

We had a lovely stay, thanks for letting us stay in your awesome villa. Lovely pool and a great local tapas bar. Lots of sunshine, on cloudy or windy days head south to Puerto Calero or Papagayo. The villa has everthing and more. Absolute must do - a day trip to Timanfaya and lunch in Yaiza. Fabulous shops in the village (especially cake and fish shops). We found the aloe vera museum in Yaiza very interesting. A huge thank you for a super welcoming and comfortable villa. Nothing is too much trouble for Montse (children aged 9 & 11).
