Client Reviews for Casa Maymi

We had a lovely time and hope to return next year.

We had planned a week's stay at Maymi iin the warm Spanish sunshine as the perfect antedote to a soggy, disappointing English summer - and that's exactly what we have had! Conil is larger and the centre a bit further away than we anticipated but we soon found our bearings. The winding streets of the old town have a certain charm, particularly in the evening when all the bars and street restaurants are in full swing. Vejer is a real gem - the plaza with its colourful mosaic fountain and square is a perfect picture postcard scene. Our rep Nki has been wonderful, organising a birthday cake, booking a restaurant to watch the sunset over the Atlantic and bubbly for our anniversary. All this together with answering all our questions, she's a real star.

We have loved staying at Maymi, a great villa and very well equipped. With a 2 year old in tow we haven't eaten out a lot but when we have eaten out at the beach the food has been great. Cala de Aceite is perfect for little ones as the sea is quite calm and sandy underfoot. The town of Conil is lovely for an evening stroll, many bars and restaurants. Would love to see more and hope to be back.

Loved our stay at Casa Maymi, the house was homely and classically Spanish. The pool was much bigger than I'd visualised and the children had endless hours of water fun! The location was truly lovely, can't rate the area high enough. Fab stay!!

We have had a lovely week, loved all the different beaches within easy reach. Vejer was lovely but rather hot the day we went. Would love to come back again to see a bit more. The villa was very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool a lot. A great holiday, very easy with the children.

This was our first visit to Southern Spain and although it has been extremely hot (as expected) we've had a great time. The following are based on entertaining a 4 and 2 year old - go to the beach in the morning, we enjoyed rock pools at Zahora and La Fontanilla for sand castles and lunch. La Barrosa was too crowded. Conil in general was easy with the kids. We visited Cadiz which I wasn't that bothered about but Vejer was lovely and I really recommend it.

So much else we could have done, we have a reason to return to this vibrant little town, we hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Our second visit here, had a great stay in this lovely villa which suits us well. We hope to be back again.

Great stay here with our 2 young children. The pool was well used and we appreciated how well maintained the pool area was. We have stayed in villas in previous years and this one has the best pool we have had. Our favourite beach was Zahora, we found it best for the kids but made the mistake of turning up pre 10am to find the car park still locked up! We didn't really eat out much as Spanish dinner time was too late for our kids. A great holiday - 4 yr old daughter sad to be leaving which says it all.

We have had a fabulous time. the pool has been great fun everyday and we have enjoyed exploring the local area. Zahora beach was a joy to our children with its endless rock pools and a fun vibe. Conil town has been great for relaxing dinners and ice cream parlours. We highly recommend Arte y Pasion the local horse show on a Friday evening. Niki has been incredibly helfpul and even arranged for Sarah to ride the horses in the show - amazing!
