Client Reviews for Casa Maymi

The villa and pool are lovely and we've enjoyed day trips to Cadiz, Vejer, Jerez and Gibraltar. Vejer is beautiful - take a walk up to see the castle and convent. The circuit at Jerez worth a visit if you like motorsport. Gibraltar is astonishing, plenty to see on The Rock. There are - even this late in the year - plenty of good restaurants in Conil. We enjoyed La Fontanilla restaurants and beach bars. There is plenty of good food here and the fish is very tasty. Cadiz is beautiful, lots of lovely boats in the harbour. It's been a lovely trip, we will certainly be back. Niki is a brilliant rep as well as being wonderfully friendly.

Had a blast. New to Conil area and just love it. Beach fantastic. Must see the dancing horses in Jerez and Tio Pepe bodega. Love this villa - 2 weeks of bliss.

Great week at this lovely villa. Easy walk to Conil beaches and the lovely restaurants/bars in the old town. Vejer and Arcos are must see hilltop villages. The sherry tasting tour was excellent too. The town fiesta was pretty noisy for the first few days but it's a once per year event! Spotless property with lovely pool and ideal location.

A lovely relaxing break in this lovely house. The weather has been very hot reaching 40 degrees, so the pool has been well used. Some good food and a bus trip to Cadiz have made this a great holiday. An interesting and delightful part of Spain to visit.

A great 2nd visit - for the food, beaches and good places to visit: bodegas, horses, Alcazar and Cathedral in Jerez, churches in Arcos and an excellent walking tour and repeat visits to Vejer and elsewhere. A delightful part of Spain.

2 weeks in the sun after my GCSEs for me and my family. The villa was very good, the enclosed pool sheltered from the wind and all but 2 meals cooked on the BBQ. Conil is a lovely town which comes alive after 9pm. One of the many highlights was the Roman ruins at Bolonia. All in all our stay was brilliant although the Wi-Fi was infuriating at times.

A great 2 weeks here in Conil - over far too soon. Long long walks along the beach and lazy afternoons by the pool. Then a beer on the patio early evening. Weather has been fabulous. The gentle breeze - strong winds are a welcome relief from the heat.

We have had a super week. The weather has been glorious, so the pool has been much appreciated. We have visited the beaches, Zahora was a particular favourite. We spent a lovely day in Cadiz with lunch of fried fish on the square by the cathedral and an evening in Vejer with excellent tapas. Muchas gracias Miguel and Vintage, it's been fabulous, we would love to return.

We had planned a week's stay at Maymi iin the warm Spanish sunshine as the perfect antedote to a soggy, disappointing English summer - and that's exactly what we have had! Conil is larger and the centre a bit further away than we anticipated but we soon found our bearings. The winding streets of the old town have a certain charm, particularly in the evening when all the bars and street restaurants are in full swing. Vejer is a real gem - the plaza with its colourful mosaic fountain and square is a perfect picture postcard scene. Our rep Nki has been wonderful, organising a birthday cake, booking a restaurant to watch the sunset over the Atlantic and bubbly for our anniversary. All this together with answering all our questions, she's a real star.

We have loved staying at Maymi, a great villa and very well equipped. With a 2 year old in tow we haven't eaten out a lot but when we have eaten out at the beach the food has been great. Cala de Aceite is perfect for little ones as the sea is quite calm and sandy underfoot. The town of Conil is lovely for an evening stroll, many bars and restaurants. Would love to see more and hope to be back.
