Client Reviews for La Rajoleria

A fantastic place to stay in a lovely area. Lots of places to explore, with some good walks, especially the well signposted routes from one bay to another one. Some lovely views and colours of the sea. Enjoyed the Sunday market too, with the fresh fruits and salad items. Excellent customer service, including the representative Valerie when we needed a phone number. Looking forward to returning - still so much to see.

The pool and outside space were very welcome and we ate lots of fish from the fabulous market. The beach at Tamariu has a lovely breeze and the diving board was a source of great entertainment. We love the area and we will come back.

We've had a lovely time relaxing in the sun. We enjoyed exploring the medieval towns and villages - Pals, Begur and Peratallada. Further afield the lake at Banyoles is pretty. A coastal walk from LLafranc was great. Shopping for food at the local markets has been a joy.

Our favourite town was Platja d'Aro, lots of parking, great shops, bars and beach. The children loved the churros and endless ice cream parlours

Palafrugell definitely grew on us. We loved the daily market for fish and meat. L'Arc Restaurant is a must, located just behind the main square. Villa was a great base.

Lovely hot week. We loved Begur - use the old road to climb to the castle for great views. We loved being able to walk down Pi I Margall to buy fresh fruit and tomatoes for meals and good chorizo, morcillo and goats cheese in the covered market. Do make time to visit Museu de Suro and watch the film about how Palafrugell was centre of the cork industry a century ago. We have had a lovely week - thanks for making the property available.

We loved La Rajoleria, had a fascinating conversation with the owners who have owned all the surrounding land for generations. Would certainly consider going there again.

It's been a wonderful week and gone to fast. There is so much to do! The villa is lovely and in a good location. We really loved all the beaches and coves in Calella de Palafrugell. Canadell was our favorite and Llafranc. All very close by. We did venture to Barcelona for the day. Very tiring, but well worth it. If here on a Sunday, you must visit the market in Palafrugell, which we loved mainly for the food and people watching. We've had such a packed week, it's been great. We hope to visit again soon.
