Do Nothing..
but relax on the terrace and enjoy the peace and quiet, beautiful garden and stunning views.


Get close to nature
There is a pond in the garden with a hide. You won't need to wait for long before you will see all sorts of creatures attracted by the fresh water. Take your camera too as there will be lots of opportunities to photograph dragonflies, all sorts of birds and even tortoises and lizards.


Visit the Necropolis
Take the lane to the side of the villa and you will get to this fascinating archeological site. The necropolis is made up of 14 different caves, some with carvings, pillars and intricately decorated doorways.


Go to the beach
Just walk a little further on from the necropolis and you will come to the beach. It`s not a traditional sandy beach but it is beautiful. Don`t forget to take a mask and snorkel.


Algaiarens-La Vall
Is just a short drive from Toroelleta. This area of natural beauty has 2 beaches which are great for swimming and snorkelling and various nature trails through the pine forest. Follow the sign to the `mirador` from the car park for spectacular views.


Explore Ciutadella on foot
Forget the time and soak up the atmosphere. Enjoy stunning views of the harbour from the Plaça des Born and take time to visit the Cathedral.


Walk to Punta Nati
along the Cami de Cavalls. The start of the path is just up the road from the Necropolis and the walk takes just a few hours. Look out for the monument to the 'General Chanzy', which was a mail ship that sank off the coast there in 1910.


Watch the sun go down
at Punta Nati. The locals say that this is the best place on the Island to see the sun set.


Go horse riding
and see the Menorcan countryside from a different angle. The Son Angel stables are just a short drive from the villa and they offer routes to suit everyone, even if you are a complete beginner.


Monte Toro
is the highest point on the Island and home to a charming Sanctuary as well as an excellent café. The panoramic views are breathtaking and on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Mallorca.


Visit Ferreries
where you will find a surprising number of sophisticated boutiques and restaurants. This is the place to go if you want to buy the traditional Menorcan sandals, `abarcas`. Visit the main square on Saturday mornings and buy local produce at the lively farmers' market.

A good place for buying gifts, or that extra item of clothing you forgot to bring.


Take a guided tour around Cathedral in Ciutadella
It really is a beautiful building and steeped in history. Learn about its origins as a Mosque and visit the catacombs. The views from the roof of the harbour and the old quarter of Ciutadella are stunning. Don`t forget your camera!


Visit Binissues
The `Cami Dels Alocs` road is in between Ciutadella and Ferreries and leads to Binissues, an English style country manor house. Explore the museums and landscaped gardens before having lunch in the excellent restaurant. The views from the dining room are not to be missed.


Shop for local hams and cured meats
at El Paladar, Jamoneria & Delicatessen, where there is a huge selection of Menorcan produce as well as items imported from the Mainland.
