Visit the beautiful city of Jerez and marvel at its architecture, the Moorish alcazar and its beautiful gardens, palaces, the cathedral and its ancient monastery. The bull ring and theatre are worth a look too, even if you don't go inside.

The sherry triangle consists of Jerez, Sanlucar and El Puerto de Santa Maria. Visit one of the famous bodegas including Fundador, Tio Pepe, Harveys, Williams Humbert or the Lustau wineries which also houses an impressive art collection including work by Picasso.

Be amazed by the scale of these largely overlooked Roman remains. A whole Roman city at the foot of a huge sand dune. Afterwards enjoy freshly cooked fish and seafood at one of the little beach bars.

Drive further inland towards the mountains of Grazalema. Stop off at the white towns of Arcos de la Frontera, Alcala, Ubrique (famous for its leather goods), Grazelama and El Bosque.

Some great courses in the area and all available to non-members. The famous Montecastillo Resort is the closest. Sherry Golf in Jerez and the course at El Puerto are all within an easy drive.
