Great things to do near Joymag
Have a swim in the sea
as a change from the pool. There is a country lane at the end of the road that leads to the coastline and a great place to swim and snorkel. It's also a good spot to watch the sun go down.

Walk along the Cami de Cavalls
to Cala Blanca instead of taking the car. The Cami de Cavalls is the ancient bridal path that circumnavigates the Island.

Have lunch at the marina at Cala en Bosch
With a variety of bars and restaurants available, there is something here to suit all tastes.

Do Nothing..
but relax in Joymag's beautiful garden.

Watch the sun go down
from the lighthouse at the Cap d`Artrutx. The views are spectacular. The lighthouse has been converted into a bar/restaurant, so it`s the perfect place to enjoy a `sundowner`.

Take to the sea
The `Amigos` boat runs trips along the south coast from Cala en Bosch. It`s a great way to see some of the many coves that are not accessible by car.

Take a guided tour around the Cathedral in Ciutadella
It really is a beautiful building and steeped in history. Learn about its origins as a Mosque and visit the catacombs. The views from the roof of the harbour and the old quarter of Ciutadella are stunning. Don`t forget your camera!

Playas de Algaiarens
These two beautiful beaches are completely unspoilt and a wonderful place to enjoy the sun, clear blue sea and sand with a backdrop of pine trees. Drive to the second car park and the beach is just a few minutes walk away.

Try Paddleboarding
at Son Xoriguer. There is tuition and trips available to suit all ages and abilities. Some of the trips are timed to coincide with the sunset.

Hire a bike
and cycle along one of the many routes close to Joymag.

Go horseriding along the Cami de Cavalls
Trips are organised to suit all ages and levels of ability from the Son Angel stables on the road to La Vall. All of the trips go along the Cami de Cavalls which is the ancient bridal path that circumnavigates the Island. It really is an excellent way to explore the Menorcan countryside.

Shop for local hams and cured meats
at El Paladar, Jamoneria & Delicatessen, where there is a huge selection of Menorcan produce as well as items imported from the Mainland.

If you enjoy birdwatching prepare to be amazed
You will see several different species above the gardens at Joymag and for real enthusiasts visit the S'Albufera des Grau, a marshy nature reserve with specially marked paths for nature lovers to follow.

Make a splash, ride daredevil slides and jump in the wave pool at the Aquarock water park in Cala en Bosch.
