Stroll into Santandria
and enjoy a few hours on the quiet beach and a dip in the sea. The bay is shallow and safe for children. Finish off with a drink in the beach bar where the atmosphere is great!

There are spectular views from the lighthouse over to Mallorca.
Make a splash
at the Aqua Rock in Cala en Bosc, one of Menorca`s two water parks. Brave the famous Black Hole slide or relax in the Jacuzzi. There are atractions in the park to suit everyone from daredevils to the toddlers.

Stroll around the marina at Cala en Bosc
It is in the evening when this area comes to life, with market stalls selling trinkets, children's play areas and a great selection of bars and restaurants.

Stroll down to the beach at Sa Caleta and enjoy the cristal clear waters in this pretty cove.
Forget time, soak up the atmosphere and wander around the old quarter in Ciutadella. Enjoy a coffee on the Plaza d`es Born and watch the world go by, enjoy lunch in one of the many excellent restaurants in the Ses Voltes area.
Visit Monte Toro
The Island`s `mountain`. The panaromic views from the top are stunning. See if you can pick out which town is which.
Make time for a coffee whilst at Monte Toro
The nuns run the small coffee shop there and the `pastissets` (biscuits drenched in icing sugar and in the form of a flower) are delicious.
Buy local produce
Instead of using the supermarket, buy local produce from the "Rural Market" which is held in the Plaza del Mercat, every Saturday from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Shop for local hams and cured meats
at El Paladar, Jamoneria & Delicatessen, where there is a huge selection of Menorcan produce as well as items imported from the Mainland.
Drive out of Ciutadella along the main road towards the little town of Ferreries
Just before the town centre, on the right, take the road leading to Cala Galdana. After about 1.5 km on the left you come to Son Martorellet, where an equestrian show is performed on two evenings per week. This is a chance to see the famous black Menorcan horses performing as at the Fiestas, and much more. Booking advisable.
Step back in time
and walk around one of Menorca`s many prehistoric sites and have a taste at what life may have been like for the first Menorcans. Talati de dalt is the most popular settlement on the island. It contains an unusual elliptical-base conical talayot, a large leaning taula, and several dwellings as well as a well preserved defensive wall. It can be found 4km west of Mao on the main road to Alaior.
