Cesar’s huge swimming pool and separate children’s pool is surrounded by a large and very private sun terrace making this property a great choice for families wanting to spend indolent days swimming and relaxing as well as evenings enjoying the laid back village ambience in the waterside tavernas of Aghios Stefanos’ (2.8km).
Shade from a large pergola encourages extended lunches poolside at the impressive outdoor dining table and chairs followed by a snooze or a dip to cool off. For true water babies, the children’s pool guarantees endless fun for toddlers in the shallow waters.
Aghios Stefanos and its crescent of white beach are nearby, as are many of the smaller coves and bays to explore, so Cesar is an ideal base to discover North East Corfu, either by boat, on foot or by car. A welcoming one storey house, the pink façade has an inviting first impression and inside, the spacious layout offers contemporary décor and a relaxed air.
Recently renovated to a high standard, the living, dining and kitchen area open out onto a patio at the front of the villa, conveniently close to a modern practical kitchen arranged along one side of the large sitting room. The attractive interior is bright and welcoming painted a pale yellow that contrasts nicely with the smart, modern glass dining table and elegant high backed chairs, whilst inviting cream coloured sofas combined with traditional wooden rafters create a quiet informal atmosphere.
Off the hallway; the air conditioned bedrooms all have wrought iron bedsteads and the main double bedroom has French patio windows opening on to a quiet terrace surrounded by olive groves. Two twin bedrooms each have their own terrace, whilst a single bedroom overlooks the front patio.
Keen walkers will find plenty of quiet footpaths to explore amongst the rolling hillsides that surround the harbour while the neighbouring beach of Kerasia, with a couple of bars and tavernas right next to the water, offers an equally tempting alternative.
