This appealing townhouse could not be more conveniently located for guests to take full advantage of the myriad attractions on offer in this celebrated Roman town. Park the car (in your private garage!) and put away the keys as all amenities which include cafes, bars, supermarkets, boutiques, banks, chemists, bakeries and a large choice of wonderful restaurants ranging from casual tapas to fine dining are within walking distance.
Add to this the vibrant Sunday market in the Plaça Major, the stunning viewpoint of ‘calvario’ plus, of course, the atmospheric and beautifully preserved old cloisters (home of a world-famous summer music festival) and you will be spoilt for choice… if you can bear to leave your private pool and spacious sun terrace!
Bright, modern and with a location inviting guests to be as relaxed or active as they wish, Ca’n Salas is a great choice for a couple (or two) as well as a small family. Large glass doors/windows allow light to flood into the smart open plan living space which comprises a sitting area with a large flat screen TV fronted by plump sofas, a designated dining area and a contemporary, well-appointed kitchen with plenty of work space for keen cooks.
An attractive shower room sits off the small central hallway while a double and a twin bedroom complete the accommodation. WiFi, along with air conditioning in the living area and both bedrooms are thoughtful additions to the facilities.
Sun seekers have a choice of venues. To one side of the living area a door gives access to a staircase leading to the rooftop sun terrace, on the other side steps off the main sun/dining terrace take you directly to the private pool and barbecue area.
Further afield the lovely beaches of Cala San Viçens and Port de Pollença are a 10-15 minute drive, golf is 5 minutes, walking and cycling trails abound in the surrounding countryside or why not try the scenic train journey from Sa Pobla (20 mins away) which makes the island capital of Palma an engaging day trip.
