Enjoying beautiful views of the gently sloping Puig de Maria, this very desirable property sits in the heart of the Colonya valley surrounded by lush verdant hills yet is a mere 3km from the wonderful Roman town of Pollença. Each of the three bedrooms is air conditioned, roomy and well furnished with décor that includes exposed brickwork, several antique pieces of furniture and a collection of interesting artwork. One of the double bedrooms features a wonderfully restored, original Mallorcan bed frame that is considered a family heirloom; however, we would mention that the comfortable (recently purchased) mattress it houses most definitely does not qualify for heirloom status! Rest assured that a good night’s rest is assured!
Adorned with comfy rattan sofas and stretching the length of the façade, the covered outdoor terrace is ideal for a life lived alfresco with a designated dining area that is surely destined to become the centre of holiday activity (or, maybe inactivity?). Just a few steps beyond, an ample sun terrace borders the pool and the adjacent in-built barbecue invites long lingering suppers gazing up at the stars.
Golfers have Pollença Golf Club just 2km away, but even more appealing, the quaint cobbled streets and squares of the town itself offer a weekly market and a marvellous choice of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. The sandy coves of Cala Sant Vicenç and sweeping Bay of Pollença are each within a 15 minute drive.
All in all we feel the convenience of Finca Josepet’s location is hard to beat, particularly when considered alongside the appealing charm of a rustic hideaway.
