At Can Cirilo we were delighted to discover a smart and superbly constructed house combining excellent comfort and design with a situation that embraces all the advantages of village life, countryside and proximity to beautiful beaches.

Located just metres from the sleepy village square of Mont-Ras, a pretty rural enclave where farming still plays an important part in the day to day life of its inhabitants, you are just a ten minute stroll from local restaurants, bars, a bakery, a fishmonger’s and a well stocked supermarket.

The delightful beaches of Llafranc (5.5km), Calella de Palafrugell (5.5km) and Platja de Castell (6.4km) are all within a fifteen minute drive whilst a short walk along a nearby country lane past traditional farm cottages leads straight into the heart of the Gavarres mountain range, a protected area of natural beauty adorned with hidden Romanesque stone chapels, ancient dolmens and vast forests of cork oak.

Inside, a smart open plan living/dining area and an adjacent well equipped kitchen both open out to a spacious covered dining terrace that conveniently borders the lawned garden and private pool and offers an ideal setting in which to swim, sunbathe, enjoy a meal or simply relax whilst the children splash about under the Mediterranean sun. A double bedroom, single bedroom and shower room complete the ground floor accommodation whilst upstairs are two single bedrooms and a principal double bedroom which boasts not only a spacious en suite dressing room but also a private sun terrace from where a panoramic vista of rooftops and countryside stretches out ahead.

Not only is Can Cirilo an excellent choice for those who wish to enjoy sea and countryside whilst being within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants but it is also ideally positioned for visiting the magnificent cathedral city of Girona and chic Barcelona.
