At Campo Lameiro, a 20-minute drive from Vilacoba, there is an Archaeological Park (Parque Arqueolóxico de Arte Rupestre) with rock drawings and a Bronze Age reconstructed village sited along a 3km long path which is dotted with rest areas and springs. The site is set in lovely countryside and is one of the most significant in Galicia.
15 minutes to the west is the Muiñada de Barosa, a series of waterfalls with 17 mills which took advantage of the force of the water. There are several picnic tables and a couple of restaurants, open in the summer months.
