Largely untouched by tourism Petalidi (a ten minute drive) is home to good amenities that include several welcoming tavernas, cafés and coffee shops radiating off the pretty town square. A weekly market (usually Friday) takes over the harbourside near the sand/pebble beach or the gorgeous sweeping sandy beach of Paralia Velika is about a 20 minute drive along the coast.
