Panoramic vistas and fashionably designed accommodation are wonderfully combined at this striking rural home which nestles into the picturesque patchwork of rolling countryside that surrounds El Gastor in an imaginative layout that celebrates the captivating scene of beautiful natural landscape that is laid out before it.

An L-shaped design enables its stylish facade to wrap around two sides of an elegant swimming pool area in a way that creates a pleasingly intimate space whilst at the same time embracing the wonderful panoramic vistas.  From dawn to dusk you will be able to look out onto this enticing scene as the sun moves across the rolling hills of the east, shedding its light onto the shimmering waters of Lake Zahara, and then sets spectacularly behind the imposing peaks of Grazalema.

Whilst the wide picture windows of the open-plan living area and principal bedroom bring these views into the home, they also fill the smart interior with an abundance of light and a refreshing sense of space. A chic colour palette of light neutrals and contrasting deeper tones further enhances the contemporary look and this continues through to the other bedrooms which look out across slopes of olive trees to the rear of the house.

Pleasingly close by, the pretty village of El Gastor is one of the region’s quintessential ‘pueblos blancos’ and as you wander along its narrow streets, past gleaming white houses adorned with wrought iron balconies and flower-filled window boxes, you will find yourself uncovering a surprisingly comprehensive selection of typical local shops and some good restaurants. This is just 2km from the house whilst within a 30 minute drive are some of the area’s other treasures; historic Ronda, scenic Zahara de la Sierra and the picture-postcard village of Grazalema.

  • *As this is a protected area of natural beauty, barbecue bans will be enforced from early June and an electric 'plancha' will be provided for outdoor catering.
