Shops and eateries
The bakery & tapas bar located next to the well-stocked supermarket in the southern part of Binibeca Nou sells delicious bread and pastries made on the premises as well as an impressive range of Menorcan products. Some of the islands most famous restaurants are also in this area, known as Cala Torret, and here it's possible to enjoy excellent food and stunning sea views at the same time.
In Binibeca Vell there is a great choice for shopping and dining where everything from fine dining to a simple burger is on offer. Apart from a choice of supermarkets, most of the shops are tucked away down charming alleys.
There is a weekly market and some stylish shops and boutiques in nearby Sant Lluis, and in Punta Prima a craft market is held a few nights a week.

Sant Luis is a typical Menorcan town with a distinctively French influence and was named after Louis IX. Criss-crossed with roads edged with white washed houses, the town is home to some excellent shops and restaurants that are favoured by residents and tourists alike. A traditional windmill here has been fully restored and is now open to the public as a museum.
Punta Prima, with its icing sugar sand and deep blue water is a short trip along the south coast. Being a holiday resort it offers a whole range of activities and restaurants. There are also some stunning virgin beaches nearby such as Binidali and Cala Fondo which is said to be one of the best places for snorkelling as it is compared to swimming in an aquarium! A modern waterpark is also nearby with rides and slides that appeal to all ages.
