About Sant Lluis

The windmills of Sant Lluis

A notable feature of Sant Lluis is its 3 windmills, used centuries ago by the farmers of the Balearic Islands who brought their grain here to be ground. Of the three, the Moli de Dalt (upper mill) in the best preserved and is now an ethnological museum where visitors can see the tools used by those very workers. The Moli d’Enmig (middle mill) and Moli de Baix (lower mill) are still used today by private local organizations.
