Nearby Avlaki

A 5-10 minute drive north from San Stefanos leads to unspoiled Avlaki, whose stunning pebble beach with crystal clear water is well worth a visit. No matter what time of year, even during July and August, this wide sweeping bay is quiet and peaceful. Sun beds and facilities are available, and the beach is regularly awarded a prestigious Blue Flag for cleanliness. Two tavernas, set back from the beach, serve excellent food throughout the day. Boats can be hired from the beach, and at the far end of the village there is a sailing school. A nearby riding school offers horse riding and pony trekking.
