Lake Korission

A nature reserve, Lake Korission is a haven for over 100 species of birdlife, both native and migrating, as well as flamingos; thus it is a popular spot for ornithologists. It is also home to turtles and tortoises. The small forest of cedar and juniper trees that surround houses some rare vegetation. This is a peaceful place for walking and being at one with nature.

Argyrades Village

To experience true Corfiot village life take a trip to the nearby village of Argyrades. To explore this authentic village, leave the car and enter through narrow alleyways to the pedestrian only areas. Argyrades is known for its local handicrafts such as ceramics and jewellery and the pretty fruit and veg market also takes place every day.

Greek and Corfiot classics can be found in abundance with popular dishes such as souvlaki and moussaka ready to be served. Being next to the sea, fresh fish from calamari to sea bass can be found at nearly all tavernas.
