Lake Korission
A nature reserve, Lake Korission is a haven for over 100 species of birdlife, both native and migrating, as well as flamingos; thus it is a popular spot for ornithologists. It is also home to turtles and tortoises. The small forest of cedar and juniper trees that surround houses some rare vegetation. This is a peaceful place for walking and being at one with nature.
Issos Beach
At its southern end, Halikounas Beach meets Issos Beach, combining to form ten kilometres of pristine, golden sand. The sea is crystal clear and the beach shelves gently into the shallow waters.
