The nearest airport to Meganisi is Preveza Airport (code PVK).
You have the choice of collecting a car at Preveza Airport or collecting your car on the island of Meganisi. Both options are very straightforward.

Guests will be transferred by taxi/minibus from Preveza Airport to the port in Lefkada (approx. 50 mins) from where a sea taxi will take you on the short (approx 15 min) crossing over to Meganisi, where your hire car will be waiting for you at the port. See Meganisi Transfers below.

Collecting your car at Preveza Airport
You will collect your hire car at the airport and make your own way to Nidri Port in Lefkada for your short onward public car ferry crossing to Meganisi. See Meganisi Transfers below.

Meganisi Transfers
Private Transfer (collecting your car on Meganisi)
Guests will be transferred by taxi/minibus from Preveza Airport to the port in Lefkada (approx. 50 mins) from where a sea taxi will take you on the short (approx 15 min) crossing over to Spilia on Meganisi, where your hire car will be waiting for you at the port.
Transfer Cost are as follows (payable Locally):
Taxi: Preveza Airport to Lefkada Port - up to 4 passengers €60 each way, Up to 12 passengers €110 each way.
Sea Taxi: Lefkada Port to Meganisi - up to 5 passengers €90 each way, additional passengers €10 each.
Crossing times will fit in with your flight times.
Public Transfer (collecting your car at Preveza Airport)
You will collect your hire car at the airport and make your own way to Nidri Port on Lefkada for your short public car ferry crossing to Meganisi. Tickets for the public ferry cannot be pre-booked, you simply turn up and buy your ticket at the port, just like the locals.
