Boasting a superb outdoor pool and summer kitchen area and large grounds, Le Mas Grandjean is the perfect villa for a large family getaway located in a private residential area above the Le Tignet area and close to Peymeinade (2.5km). With lovely views to the sea and 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 adults and 2 children, the villa features a turret stone building and contemporary interiors with large living spaces that open to the terrace with views. In lower season weeks, a lower rate is available for groups of up to 6 in 3 bedrooms, using the ground floor only.
The hilltop village of Cabris is 5km away, with its pretty squares, selection of restaurants and fabulous views. It is easy to immerse yourself in Provençal culture by visiting vibrant local towns and villages like Grasse (11km) and St Cézaire sur Siagne, where you can pick up fresh produce, artisanal cheeses and herbs at the weekly markets. Various cultural events take place in this area throughout the year including music festivals, art exhibitions and traditional celebrations showcasing the region’s rich heritage. The property is set in the valley of the Siagne river, which meanders through stunning landscapes and offers opportunities for scenic walks and cycling tours. Water lovers meanwhile can enjoy a day at Lac de Saint-Cassien, a nearby lake perfect for boating, fishing, and picnicking, or the more adventurous could try canyoning or kayaking in Gourdon (22km).
Within a short drive lie the glamorous coastal cities of Cannes (25km) and Nice (56km), known for their sandy beaches, upscale boutiques and vibrant nightlife. The chic medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence (34km) is also in reach, with its pristine cobblestone streets, upmarket restaurants and art galleries, and panoramic views of the French Riviera. Great Things to Do Near Le Mas Grandjean
A trip to Cannes
One of the most luxurious and prestigious destinations on the Côte d'Azur, Cannes is easily accessible at about 35 minutes' drive from Peymeinade, and offers a wide variety of activities for everyone. It is best known for its fashionable designer boutiques and being home to the famous annual Film Festival, which brings an influx of stars and celebrities every May. However, venture deeper into Cannes' older quarters to discover an area teeming with character, a labyrinth of winding cobbled passageways and tiny streets leading down to the Old Port, whilst enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean climate, dominated by sea, sand and sun.

Head into Peymeinade
Peymeinade is blessed with several restaurants and a good range of shops. A weekly market is held on Monday morning so you can stock up with fresh produce for the week.

include horse riding and golf. In fact golfers are spoilt for choice, with four superb courses in the Grasse area.
A day at the beach
The nearest beaches are at Mandelieu la Napoule, which are great family beaches with plenty of amenities on hand. Or you could try Théoule sur Mer and the surrounding area, which offers smaller and usually less busy beaches. Water skiing is on offer at Théoule.
Perfumeries and Perfume Museum
Grasse is internationally renowned for its perfume production, and offers ample opportunity to sample and buy perfumes and a wide variety of fragranced goods as well as discovering the origins of perfume making at the Fragonard, Molinard or Galimard perfume factories or at the fascinating Musée International de la Parfumerie.
Lac de Saint-Cassien
Take the Draguignan road south-west from Peymeinade, then left onto the Route du Lac for a scenic drive along the shore of Lake St Cassien. Stop off for lunch at a lakeside restaurant, and for an active afternoon hire a canoe or pedalo and go out on the water.
Keep the children entertained
Have a fun family day out down on the coast near Antibes, where you can choose from the Aquasplash water park, the Far West theme park and Adventure Golf.
Art and History Museum
Discover the local history of the Provence region through everything from faïence pottery to toys, furniture, costumes and paintings, at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire in Grasse.

Children (and energetic adults) may like to tackle a treetop adventure course of rope swings, nets, bridges etc. There is one in St Cézaire, next to the caves, or 'Canyon Forest' on the coast at Villeneuve-Loubet.
