In El Cisne we have found that winning combination of features that is always such a delight to discover and which left us in no doubt that this smart and beautifully presented coastal home should be added to our portfolio.  Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac only 1.1km from the pretty fishing village that touches the golden sands of the bay of Tamariu, it enjoys an enviable location whilst at the same time offering stylish and spacious accommodation that incorporates the very best of contemporary design.

Sleek lines, subtle lighting and a tasteful blend of colours combine to create an appealing interior, which flows easily through from an up-to-date kitchen to an impressive sitting/dining room, made light and airy by the French windows that line one of its walls. From this level, an eye-catching galleried staircase leads the way to the first floor where lofty ceilings and large windows ensure that the same bright ambience prevails and a wide picture window frames an impressive vista of rolling wooded hillside.

Outside, the swimming pool sits within attractive terraced grounds, which are easily accessed by way of the patio doors that lead out from both the living room and the downstairs bedroom. Also conveniently located is a barbecue area, which sits just off the kitchen and is perfect for al fresco dining. Whilst you may wish to simply relax here by the pool or on one of the shady terraces, the sandy beach, local grocery shop and seafront bars and restaurants of Tamariu are so close to hand that it is likely that this delightful village will become a well frequented spot. Alternatively, a short drive over pine-clad hills will reveal the shimmering turquoise bay of Aigua Blava, not far beyond which the medieval town of Begur nestles below an imposing 11th Century castle and houses a charming network of narrow cobbled streets, replete with restaurants and chic boutiques.

As dusk falls local artisans set up stalls and perhaps a local artist will set up their pitch. Waiters start serving platters of grilled fish, while the Mediterranean laps gently on the shoreline.

Take a stroll beneath the arched ‘Voltes’
