A unique house in a unique location, Alica 8 - formerly known as Casa Chacon, has undergone a complete renovation for 2025, with high quality appliances, fixtures and fittings and natural tones of beige and brown adding a softer touch to existing striking rustic features - quite simply is a delight. Discretely tucked away behind a classic stone façade in a sedate residential side street this comfortable, well-appointed town house sits in the very heart of the vibrant and iconic Roman town of Pollença. This is an enviable, ultra-desirable location and, with a range of excellent amenities all within close walking distance, the epitome of convenience.

Both respectful to, and evocative of bygone days, the characterful interior harmoniously blends wooden beams, exposed stonework, traditional artefacts and floors of polished tile with contemporary features including a distressed metal staircase, modern fitted kitchen, air conditioning and WiFi.

Three bedrooms and two walk in shower rooms make a particularly appealing balance for sharing families or groups of friends and a lovely relaxed, welcoming atmosphere pervades the whole of the property.

Focal point of the tiered garden is the good-sized private pool and there is an impressive view from the upper dining and sun terraces back across the town rooftops to the Puig de Maria.

Look out for some eye-catching ironwork in and around the grounds where the stair rail, wall decoration and upper terrace fence have each been fashioned from a whimsical combination of everyday implements welded together into an imaginative collage.

All the town attractions which include many excellent restaurants, summer music recitals at the old cloisters, 365 steps of ‘calvario’, and the atmospheric ‘Plaza Major’ central square are within a few hundred metres of Alica 8.

You are also in the heart of the action during the annual ‘Moors and Christians’ cultural festival held in early August; a lively few days (and at least one very boisterous night!) of elaborately costumed activity that includes much singing, marching, flag-waving, displays of horsemanship and general 'shield-beating' revelry culminating in a grand mock battle and live music concert in the square!

Gorgeous sandy beaches, various walking and cycling trails, two golf courses, tennis, horse riding and watersports are all appealing, easily accessible options in what is a wonderfully scenic corner of this beautiful island.

  • Air conditioning usage is on a timer.19:00h - 07:00h
  • Tiered grounds mean that very young children may need supervision.
