About Sainte-Maxime

The beaches

Plage de la Croisette features a mix of fine sand and pebbles and offers stunning panoramic views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

Plage de la Madrague is a long yet narrow beach, predominantly sandy and is especially popular with snorkelling and scuba diving enthusiasts. Its remarkable seabed is home to posidonia meadows and rockfish, while the unspoilt, wilder setting and excellent water quality make it a favoured spot for confident swimmers.

Eating out

Sainte-Maxime offers a varied dining scene along its waterfront and in the town centre. The restaurant scene here ranges from traditional French and Provençal establishments to Italian trattorias and beachside venues.
