It is essential that you have travel insurance, both to protect you against liability in the event of cancellation and also to cover medical and other losses whilst on holiday. It is a condition of booking that you must have adequate travel insurance in place and any alternative cover should be at least equivalent to that shown below.
Vintage Travel has arranged competitive travel insurance with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 304788). Details of all companies can be found on the FCA website (www.fca.org.uk) Vintage Spain Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Travel & General Insurance Limited.
Our travel insurance is only available to UK residents. Insurance premiums shown below and throughout this site are inclusive of 20% IPT.
Evidence of insurance
A policy document that fully defines the cover, conditions and exclusions will be sent to you with your booking confirmation. When you receive your policy, please take the time to read it carefully to ensure you understand what is and what is not covered, and that all activities that you may wish to participate in are included. If it does not meet your requirements, please return the policy, proof of premium and any other relevant documents to us within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the premium in full, provided you have not travelled or made a claim.
An insurance policy can only provide cover in respect of an event/occurrence which is sudden, unforeseen and beyond your reasonable control. Therefore any facts known to you, which could possibly result in you having to make a claim, must be disclosed otherwise you may not be covered. In addition, anyone named as insured under this policy must answer the following questions (the legal guardian must make the declaration for anyone under the age of 18 years old):
- Have you or a Close Relative ever received treatment (including surgery, tests or investigations by your doctor, a consultant or specialist), or been prescribed drugs or medication for any respiratory condition (relating to the lungs or breathing), heart condition, stroke, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, allergy, or cancer?
- Have you or a Close Relative received surgery, in-patient treatment or investigations in a hospital or clinic or been prescribed drugs or medication, within the last twelve months, for any other medical condition?
- Are you aware of any circumstances that could reasonably be expected to give rise to a claim on this policy?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you must contact Healthcheck on: 01702 427 253.

Conditions, Exclusions and Warranties
Claims for baggage and personal effects
The insurance does not provide cover on a 'new for old' basis, which means that deductions for age, wear and tear will be made where applicable.
Sums insured or limits
All sections of the insurance have a limit on the amount that the insurer will pay. Some sections have internal limits such as the amount the insurer will pay for any one item or the total amount for all valuables.
The above schedule of standard cover shows any excess that is payable.
You are required to take reasonable care of yourself and your property.
The insurance may not cover you when you take part in certain activities. You must check that the insurance covers your requirements.
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
In addition, all UK residents should carry the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This enables you to get free or reduced medical treatment if you fall ill or have an accident on holiday. For more information and to apply online visit www.ehic.org
