Nestled in a peaceful hamlet in the Gordes region, this large contemporary farmhouse is surrounded by a large plot and enjoys a stunning view of the Luberon. At Belle Plume there is a wonderful combination of refined architect styled decoration with comfort to enhance any stay in Provence.
Recently renovated the property has beautiful high ceilings throughout and is split between a comfortable contemporary living room, spacious dining area, well-appointed kitchen and 4 bedrooms, all on one level.
Outside, there are covered seating areas for you to enjoy alfresco dining and family time in a sociable 'Provençal' atmosphere. Let's not also forget the large 12m x 6m heated swimming pool which is set in shaded spot on the grounds.
Belle Plume is located in the renowned Luberon Mountain region, which is ideal for climbing, walking or mountain biking, and only within a 15 minutes drive from a wide variety of quality restaurants and shops in Gordes (8km). A stroll around this historic town is a must do to buy essential supplies for breakfast and lunch, or enjoy an apéritif and dinner in one of the many restaurants. On days when you wish to explore, you will find the opportunities are plenty. The Luberon valley teems with gorgeous scenery and pretty, colourful villages such as the ochre toned Roussillon (10km). To the west, L'Isle sur la Sorgue (18km), the Venice of Provence, attracts antique lovers eager to discover an original in the many shops that line the canals. Or follow the country lanes behind Gordes which lead to the Abbaye de Sénanque, on to the Gorges de la Nesque, and to Sault, the town surrounded by the sweet smelling fields of lavender. Marseille airport is 70km.
