Enjoy the views across to Kefalonia

Partake in a leisurely poolside breakfast whilst gazing across the sea towards the neighbouring island of Kefalonia.

Spend the day on Kefalonia

You can see the ferry boats leaving the small port in Vasiliki each day. Why not catch the morning ferry to Fiskardo yourself, explore this beautiful island and then catch a late afternoon ferry home.

Take a walk around the Dimosari waterfalls

Nestled in the hills and forests above Nidri, the Dimosari waterfalls are a haven of beauty and tranquility. Put on your most comfortable shoes and spend the morning walking around and exploring this impressive landscape. The waterfalls form small pools among the rocks on the hillside, so take your swimwear with you as you may be tempted to take a dip in warm weather!

Sample the Greek cuisine

The closest tavernas can be found along the beachfront in the Ponti area of Vasiliki. Here you will find family run restaurants serving moussaka, grilled meats, freshly caught fish, meze, souvlaki and much more.

Take the ferry from Nidri over to Meganisi for the day (with the car or on foot). The island is much smaller than Lefkada and has a population of about 2,000. Once on the island make the most of the impressive scenery, beaches, harbours and local tavernas.

Rent a boat from sheltered Sivota

Being on the east coast means that the water is a lot calmer in Sivota Bay. Here you can rent boats and explore secrets caves and coves without a skipper.

Windsurfing in Vasiliki

Part of the beach is reserved for windsurfers who come from all over the world to this corner of Lekfada. The wind which provides the perfect condition is know locally as Eric! In the afternoon, the sea here is overcome with 100s of sails and kites, amazing to watch from the comfort of your own terrace.
